HIRE THESE GUYS if you want a smooth, professional and stress-free moving experience and fair prices. In my 10 years in NYC, this was by far my easiest moving experience. I cannot say enough positive things about Veteran Movers!These are my highlights working with the team:-Excellent communication: Joe responded to e-mails or calls within a few hours while coordinating the move. On move day, the guys gave me a courtesy call when 10 minutes away and arrived on time as promised. Throughout the move, they also let me know if they had to periodically move the truck due to traffic police.-Quick turnaround times: 2 COIs turned around within a few hours. Joe even helped me hunt down COI requirements when the management company wasn't particularly helpful.-Care / attention to detail: These guys skillfully wrapped and protected all my furniture (I have several delicate mirrored pieces of furniture). My building also has a special requirement that no moving blankets are allowed, something I mentioned to Joe when scheduling the move. I didn't even need to mention it on move day, as the movers came with this already noted and prepared.-Overall: great attitudes, quality guys. Emmanuel and Adrian moved me out of a 4th floor walk up on a hot day with not a single compliant! Skillful, professional, and efficient. I felt at ease during the whole move and these guys made it easy for me to relax during what is normally a stressful situation.Thanks to Joe, Emmanuel and Adrian for a great moving experience!

Amazing job! I'm always a little weary when a business has such stellar reviews across the board, but they deserve it. Everything was seamless. I can't recommend them enough. On-time, communicative, hard-working & super pleasant to move with. We moved on the Friday before Labor Day in NYC, which is probably up there with New Year's Day as one of the worst times to move in New York (or anywhere). There were a few unforeseen problems - traffic, building issues - which the team from Veteran handled with ease, and with a positive attitude. Moving is kind of an experience. People forget that. You're locking arms and in it together - all day long, so having trustworthy & right-minded people with you to make it happen is essential. We'll use them in the future for any job!

Third time using Veterans Movers and it was just as good as before. I moved on a Sunday afternoon and so I was already the second move of the day. I've used Veterans in 2012 and 2014, and now 2017. They now use a branded moving truck and have more paperwork, all with getting more and more professional. The online form I used first was great, and when I forgot a few things I just emailed and had them added to the list. The move quote that I got was cheaper than my other moves and compared to other moving companies, was in the middle/cheaper than those other companies. I have a lot of stuff, however I have moved it multiple times now so I know what I have. Joe on the phone could not believe the number of boxes I had, as well as other furniture, but I was very detailed in my list. I also packed the vast majority of things in small boxes due to their weight; however the movers commented on this that it was packed well and they appreciated it.I was given a window of 2-4pm for the afternoon slot, so I was the second move of the day. They arrived promptly at 2pm, and had called me around 1pm to let me know when to expect them. The three Veterans who moved my stuff were Tenzin, Quentin and E.T. They were all very nice and helpful, explaining what they were doing with the furniture and pointing out what I could do to fix an issue on my kitchen table. It wasn't as hot as it could have been for a summer day, but it was still hard work that they were doing and I provided bottles of water which they were happy and appreciative to have (tip for anyone who might use Veterans). It took a little longer to get the stuff out of my old place because the building involved stairs and an elevator, but drop off at the new place was extra fast.All in all another great move with Veterans!

Third review for me, only this time they moved my mom. There's a reason these guys have such great ratings! I called pretty last minute, about a week before my mom needed to move. Our circumstances were pretty unique but I knew I could trust this team. My mom is 69 years old and pretty timid so uprooting her from her home of 13yrs was pretty tough but these guys were not only careful with her belongings but also very sensitive with her feelings during this stressful time. It was a two day move because the team was short handed but they made sure to take care of us. Words cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at veteran movers for being there for us through this difficult time. I will continue shout their praises and really do highly recommend them to anyone needing a quality move from tough outstanding gentleman.

One word: Professional. The team at Veteran Movers was just great, from the first guy I talked to and set up the move, to the team who showed up at my door on time. We had a lot of boxes and lots of stuff. These guys weren't fazed. They were also friendly, which was helpful as I felt so stressed. They even tried to follow my sticker system of what boxes go in which room. Above and beyond!The best part... I got to employ guys who have served in the military and support a veteran owned business. Yes!I got lots of quotes and while theirs wasn't the lowest, it was the right price for the job. It was also clear that the owner knew what he was doing in terms of pricing out the job, how many men to have, and the size of truck.All the way around this was a great experience and took (some of) the pain out of moving. I highly recommend Veteran Movers, and I'm grateful they made moving kind of fun. :)
