Reasonable cost, easy contract/move-in process, clean, well-lit and secure. There are only two parking bays, but out of 10 trips or so, I've only been unable to park one time. As others have said, Santos is great. You can get a discounted rate if you move in with a six-month commitment. If I could make one change, it'd be to stay open a couple hours later, but to be honest, hours haven't been an issue for me yet.Jumping back in to update this after a couple years of service. Facility is still solid, and Santos is the best. He always jumps to help me and others with any sort of task - including carrying and loading stuff! He's a genuinely friendly and helpful guy, and the best part of this place.

Stored with Extra Space (previously Tuck-It-Away) for a little over two years while living in a smaller place in Manhattan. The facility itself is perfect, clean and well managed, and I found the pricing fair. Santos, the manager on staff 99% of the time is also WONDERFUL and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend their facility and services.

Tuck it away was the best and most efficient storage facility that I ever used.  Going here felt like family and Santos who has been the face of the company really went beyond the scope of his responsibility to make sure that the tenants were satisfied.  I would recommend this place to anyone anytime. Truly a remarkable experience thanks to Santos :-)

My boyfriend and I had a very disappointing experience with Tuck-It-Away, located in Astoria. Their customer service is slow to respond. We were later told our messages were being sent to their spam folder. Not a feature you would expect from a customer service inbox. Also our phone calls and voicemails were most often left unanswered. Our biggest frustration came when the driver damaged our furniture while helping us move. Help that we were told was not going to be provided, but we suspect he did so because he was running more than an hour late, and wanted to catch up to his schedule. We only found out he was running late after calling the main office. Once the damages were reported, the corporate office sent us incorrect information and now, more than a month later, the issue is still not resolved, and Tuck It Away has not taken responsibility for its employees actions. In summation: poor communication, negligent, and irresponsible. It's a shame that they are the most convenient and affordable location for us--we will not be using them for our storage needs in the future.

The BEST! Santos is wonderful- a real gem of a human being. They have great discounts and fantastic customer service.
