Trade Movers

We called Trade Movers after our other movers bailed on us one morning. It was a snowy day in Manhattan and we had a complicated move but they showed up within hours of us calling. They even drove to Jersey City to pick up our U-Box and bring it into the city for us before hand. I was so impressed! Chris and Frank were friendly, helpful, quick and extremely professional. I felt so guilty calling last minute but couldn't believe how eager they were to do the job. I just wish I had booked with them from the beginning so I had peace of mind. Also they figured out how to get a 90" sofa down our 4th floor walk up with narrow stairs, it was impressive. I don't know how we would have gotten through the move with out the help of these two.

This has to be the worst experience I've had with a moving company let alone any company I've ever dealt with.  I had to move January 1st - not the most ideal day but I thought with good moving help it would be easy. All the reviews of trade movers seemed like it would be a smooth move. I was completely wrong. After sitting in the uhaul I rented for 3 hours waiting for them with no phone call back I started calling other moving companies who were available last minute and had their men there within 30 minutes. Another whole hour later - 4 hours after my scheduled and confirmed moving time did I get a call. "We're so sorry miss! We'll be there soon" "too late" I said and he said he'd have his manager call me the next day to apologize which never happened. If waiting around for hours waiting for this awful company wasn't enough, they just took the money for my move out of my account 4 months later for a service THEY NEVER PROVIDED. They legitimately just stole money out of my account. This is absolutely absurd. None of the phone numbers listed for this sketchy company work so I can't even call to speak to anyone to get my money back. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with and will promptly be following up with the Better Business Bureau about actions moving forward.

BEWARE!!! THIS BUSINESS IS A TOTAL SCAM!Purchased a deal through Amazon Local as advised by the customer service rep, Lorraine. I made the reservation and confirmed the time and date. They NEVER showed up and never called. Simply took our money and never rendered the service.

I called them on the day of my move (TODAY) and they worked to find movers who could help me within hours. Frank and Paris arrived with smiles and worked quickly and carefully to move my things in the shortest time possible. I sincerely appreciate their friendliness and I wish I could have given them a larger tip. THANK YOU to everyone who turned this day around for me, you saved me so much stress.**My one complaint would be that even though I asked to have the labeled boxes put in the appropriate rooms, it was not done. I have neck and back injuries and there are some boxes that I just cannot move. Otherwise, great service.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. I hired them through U-Haul. They were six hours late! They were supposed to arrive between 4 and 5 and didn't get there until 11.  They also charged me fees for tolls they paid coming through Manhattan, when they were supposed to be coming from Brooklyn. They charged me some 20 days later and when I called to figure out why, they called me a dickhead. So, awesome customer service. I will say, the actual movers who moved my stuff were great. Frank was his name? He was a very nice guy along with his helper. They moved the stuff quickly and didn't break a thing.
