I wish I knew about this service last year!! We called Junkluggers in to remove some furniture we weren't using. It was SO easy, we made an appointment online and within 30 minutes we received a phone call from a super friendly representative. They went over all the details from pricing, arrival window, a certificate of insurance and the mission of trying to donate what they can (which I've already been through on my own with Salvation Army and it's a nightmare to get something scheduled). On the day of my appointment I received a call as promised and the employees we're incredibly nice. They gave me an estimate for about 1/2 truck which seemed high but I trusted them and turns out if the final amount is less, they charge you less (which ended up happening!). They explained they would try and donate what they could and I would receive a receipt for any item taken at a donation center. They did advise some items would be difficult to donate based on their condition but they would give it their best shot. I couldn't believe how quickly they removed everything and how professional the team was! It's refreshing to work with a company that does what they claim.  After everything was finished the team swept up and were on their way. 2 weeks later, what do you know, a donation receipt for some of the items as promised in my inbox..I couldn't believe it! Bottom line, it's a bit pricey but it's worth every penny especially when you have a million other things going on in your life. Leave it to the pro's and just let them handle it!

Removal of an old couch: August 2017Junkluggers did exactly what I needed them to do quickly and efficiently. The guys were professional and the cost was low compared to the tickets I was about to start receiving from NYC meter maids.I highly recommend

We bought a new couch and I needed to get rid of my beloved vintage one (was my dad's from his bachelor days). After searching for where to donate couches and finding few options, posting it on Craigslist with no bites, I was desperate to find a way to have it not end up in a landfill. Enter Junk Luggers! They do their best to donate your goods, and if they can't, they recycle it. The price is pretty steep ($225 for just one couch, only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars), but I'll rest easier knowing I'm not adding more waste to the planet, and hopefully a family will find my old couch perfect for their home :-) Adrian and DeMarcus arrived toward the end of the two-hour window I was given and were very friendly and professional. They got the couch out quickly, and I'm excited to hear if it will be successfully donated! Thanks, Junk Luggers.

I like that the items picked up will be donated to organizations like Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.  Sometimes items out live their usefulness to you, but still can be of service to someone else.  I have tried using Free Cycle, which is also a solution of giving perfectly functional items to someone who wants it.  The problem is people often do not come, pick up and/or change their mind making it a big waste of time.  Sometimes that's the problem with Free, it's not always free in the end Junkluggers gets to you on time and will remove items and they are very professional throughout the process.  It does cost for this service, but they are worth it for cleaning up personal space and peace of mind.  Thank you

My wife and I upgraded to a bigger bed. Our old bed was in very good condition; we would have kept it if we had an extra room. I called junk luggers because of their focus on donating the bed frame to a charity and recycling the mattress, keeping it out of a landfill. Angel and Kevin picked them up within the allotted time frame; they were very friendly and professional. Many thanks
