I wish there was a zero stars option. Things started off fine, the movers arrived relatively on time, packed my stuff into the van and headed off to my new apartment. They didn't use blankets or bubble wrap of any kind, so all of my furniture was scratched when it arrived at the new apartment. They said they couldn't get the bed upstairs and tried to take it apart and told me that I should just buy a new one. They also told me that they broke it disassembling it. They tried to reassemble it, poorly, but they broke it and scratched the paint off, so I probably will have to buy a new one. Then one guy stayed in my apartment as the other one brought up boxes. They demanded more money and then left my wardrobe and dresser on the ground level of my sixth floor walk up. I had to hire a task rabbit to get the remaining furniture upstairs. I had spoken with the manager on the phone, and when I tried to call him back because the movers left, he blocked my number. They also said the credit card machine was down, so I paid $600 cash that I can't get back. So in summary:- scratched the paint off of my one of a kind refurbished Omega dresser- scratched the finish off of all of my other IKEA furniture- broke my clothes drying rack (not expensive, but annoying)- didn't bring all of the furniture to my apartmentHire any other moving company than this one.
