History

Established in 2009. Founded in 2009 by Brian Fitzgerald and Garret Plunkett, Suburban Solutions was a marriage of relentless party logistics from our university days and our wholehearted desire to break free from the confines of our cubicles. With a '98 Chevy Suburban and a burning desire to achieve more, we got our start with a few referrals from family and friends. Word spread quickly of two clean-cut, young, professionals that moved furniture and performed junk-outs with a smile! As business blossomed, we began to analyze the competition and were shocked by the lack of legitimate, customer oriented, quality service options available. Some competitors «nickel and dimed» their customers to death, while others did not respond in a timely manner, showed up hours late, destroyed furniture or held belongings hostage. From the beginning, we set out to provide stress-free, customer centric, tailored moving and junk removal solutions that would exceed our client's expectations!

By far, the easiest process of my move from Manhattan to Queens was working with Al and team at Suburban Solutions. They showed up promptly, were very friendly and were able to help in a wide range of ways (even when we hit snags). Chris and his partner (I apologize for forgetting his name) were great. I moved from a 4 story walk up to a 3 story walkup, and they took it all in stride. It was not challenging at all for them. I would highly recommend them, and will be using them for my next move 100%.Also, by far the most reasonable pricing option I've found for a move in the city.
