I experienced great service here today! I rented a UHaul and a dolly so it was simple but they took their time to explain every detail! I wanted to understand some of the fees and charges and Nicole and Victor took great care of me!  I'm definitely coming back here in the future!

I am extremely disappointed by the experience I've had with this location and some of its staff.  I moved my things in back in November of 2015, and the manager and staff were all very helpful.  However, I went back in December and discovered literally hundreds of mouse droppings in my storage unit.  Since I was certain that there was no food in any of my belongings, I knew that I wasn't the cause of the mice being there, and that it was a pre-existing issue.  I had seen mouse traps in the hallway but decided to take that as an indication that they were on top of the situation.  That was not the case.  At that moment, I wanted to yelp about it, because rodent excrement and urine is a deal breaker for me and i would have chosen a different facility had I known that my belongings would be exposed to such extreme conditions.  I chose not to, because I wanted to at least see what sort of solution they could provide.  When I raised this issue with the manager, the only "solution" he could offer me was to move to a different unit within the facility.  I had a 2 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff crammed into a 10x5x8 unit (which was partially obstructed by a huge support beam which was already eating up a good chunk of my square footage).  Moving to a different room would have meant procuring help and spending 8+ hours, making it not viable for me.  I asked if there was anything else they could do and they said no.  They didn't offer to have an exterminator treat the area or surrounding areas.  They saw pictures I took but never even bothered to come look at it in person.  After that, I fell onto some hard times and had to let go of the mouse poop issue for the time being.  Despite not having a steady job, I still paid my bill on time every single month for well over a year.  Fast forward to April of this year.  I told storage fox I wanted to move out.  I wasn't able to secure help so I was forced to postpone my move out date and incur another monthly charge.  I asked if they'd be willing to help me out and work with me and the best they could do was a $30 credit.  I accepted it because it was better than nothing.  It's worth mentioning that the majority of the things I had stored in the space were *CAKED* in mouse urine.  When I moved, I had to spend time disinfecting each and every piece of furniture, plastic container.  It was truly disgusting.  I'm lucky most of my furniture isn't valuable, otherwise it would have been ruined.  I wasn't able to get my stuff out by the end of May.  June 1st rolled around and I was getting emails and phone calls from storage fox.  I advised storage fox that I was planning to vacate by Monday the 5th and requested that they prorate me for the month of June.  They refused to do so.  I went back and fourth via email in what was a polite conversation.  Since I felt that storage fox was being very inflexible, i politely mentioned that I would be yelping about this negative experience, but emphasized that I'd much rather write a favorable yelp review about how they were willing to work with me.  After sending this email, I received 3 phone calls, the firs 2 i couldn't answer because I was at work, and the 3rd I reluctantly answered while biking to pick up my son from school.  The person who called me claimed to be a manager, but nothing about her demeanor or [lack of] etiquette indicated that she held any position of power.   After speaking with her it became obvious that her main intention was to bully me into not posting a yelp review.  The purpose of her call was to tell me that I was wrong, tell me why I was wrong, tell me that storage fox already gone above and beyond by giving me a $30 credit and that I didn't have the right to go on yelp.  Clearly she had no intention of working with me to come up with some sort of solution. I have worked in customer service for 15 years.  I've managed call centers and handled escalations before.  There wasn't a shred of professionalism with the way she spoke to me.   The person who I was speaking to sounded like an angry employee that saw my email, got all revved up, and decided to "put me in my place."  I wasn't screaming, cursing, or asking for anything outrageous.  I'm a single mom struggling to get by.  If money wasn't so tight, I wouldn't have to waste my time going back and fourth via email.  I would just pay and be done with it.  I did invest the time and effort hoping that some sort of compromise could be reached, but I see that is not the case.  I have already paid for the entire month of June and have hired movers to move the remaining stuff to a different storage space which is 1 block from where I live and cheaper to rent for the same amount of space.  With the exception of the nasty woman with whom I dealt, most of the staff is friendly.  I don't want to misrepresent or wrongfully throw anyone under the bus.  But I am posting this review so that people will know what to expect from this facility(I wish I had known)

We have rented UHaul vans a couple times here. The last one was a brand new van...even had a reverse camera! When we were there to use a van to move things from one storage unit to a cheaper one upstate, I casually inquired as to the price of their units. Not only were they cheaper, but they had a 50% off deal for 6 months. Seemed like a no-brainer! We moved our things into Storage Fox. Alicia was extremely helpful. So far, so good. Check this place out if you are looking for storage in the area or a UHaul rental.
