History

Established in 2002. Soliemoves responded to the growing need for people on Craigslist and Backpage to get the things sellers sold shipped, and the things people bought delivered. In 2002, when the New York Craigslist website started creating a buzz. Soliemoves answered. Solie purchased a 1987 Ford van from a guy in Boston through Craigslist. It wasn't the best van but it got the job done. Most of the early customers of Soliemoves found it amazing that this guy would show up and deliver furniture. Soliemoves added a whole new meaning to commerce. With community websites and Soliemoves, people were able to turn their homes and apartments into store fronts.Today, Soliemoves is a thriving delivery company based in New York City. We offer moving and delivery services for businesses and consumers who buy and sell items typically too large for conventional mail services. Solie has been moving stuff for me since 2005. That's right folks, for ten years now, in Manhattan and Brooklyn and upstate NY. He does a fantastic job, and is a genuinely nice guy. He also has really good taste if you are considering buying something off craigslist without viewing it first (which I did). His prices are very fair, he will take great care of your things during a move, he will get any ordered goods to you as promised, and he won't creep you out like some other movers :) He is also very patient because I sure drive him crazy during a move and he keeps on being cool.He is doing storage now too which I highly recommend. If you need a move in the tri state area Solie is the guy!

I recently moved to a new apartment and Solie helped to do my Ikea shopping. I'm keeping this review short, basically as a testament that his services are legit and real. I was looking at 4+ websites providing similar services and decided to go with Solie due to the other Yelp reviews (and photos) that made me feel safer. To digress, I was also talking to guys from "Anytime Assembly Pros" they are absolutely sneaky and not honest with their fees. If anyone of you is reading this review right now please take note. Anyways, Solie's team delivered on time with a 3-man team. It was a swift process. One of the TV Desk was out of stock at Ikea and I just got a refund from Solie. To those who are wondering, all transactions are done via Paypal. Soliemoves will send an invoice and you will pay for it first, Paypal will hold the money until services are complete. Overall I'm very satisfied with the service.

Our family has used many movers over the past few years,and, there is noone better than the Soliemoves movers!!!!!!!!!! In the past the movers have broken furniture. damaged the walls, took forever, nasty etc. However, with Soliemoves you get nothing but fine pleasant service..thank you Manny x2 and Warren. What a great trio of guys. Smiling, pleasant and yes, very strong. They said ."just tell me what you want us to do and where it goes!" The price is very reasonable, and the guys damaged nothing..and I mean nothing!! I highly recommed this service!!! Solie..917 589-5526!

I've never even met Solie Jordan but he got my email address when I was looking for a mover at least 6 years ago. And through the years he has kept trying to add me to to his mailing list. Just today I deleted an invitation from him on Linked In. Come on! We've never even talked! This has gone beyond marketing and into the realm of rudeness.
