Solid Movers NYC

I'm just going to state the facts in this review so you can form your own opinion.

The day before the move Tony called to confirm the move at 11AM, and that the move-in building elevator was reserved for 1-4PM the following day. I confirmed the elevator time and made clear that the Move-In building was strict on their reservations and would not allow moves outside of the window, he confirmed.

The next day 11AM passes and no phone call, I called them at 11:30 and was told they were running a few minutes late and the driver of the truck would call me, at 11:40 the driver called and said that they were just waiting for the elevator and the previous customer and would be on their way in 15 minutes.

At 1PM they still did not show up. I attempted to call them again and received no answer. I called the platform I booked them on at 1:15 and they were able to get a hold of them, and were told the same thing that they would be by my apartment in 30 minutes due to traffic delays.

At 1:30 my doorman of my move-out building received a call from the driver, and they told my doorman thinking he was me that they actually were going to be an additional 2 hours late, meaning they would not arrive at my move-out building until 3:30PM.

At this point I canceled the move via the platform and rebooked with different movers for a different date.

Didn't deliver service promised, would absolutely not use again, and am telling all my coworkers and friends to not use them either. Moving in NYC is stressful enough, don't add to it with movers that don't show up.

Great service! The solid movers team quickly and carefully moved us between apartments. They arrived on time with all the necessary materials to complete our move. All of our furniture and items arrived unscathed. They also provided a COI (required by our building) which we had trouble getting from other moving companies we requested quotes from. Communication was consistent throughout the process, before and during. We were very happy with the service all around. Would definitely work with these guys again!

BEST MOVERS EVER!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Solid Movers. The BEST movers I have used in NYC. And I'm not just saying that. This mover came ON TIME (which was an issue our last move with a different company). The guys were super friendly and fast AF!! They finished a move from a walk up to an elevator building in a little under an hour. They are seriously the best! I also like that vets are a pat of the Solid Movers crew. The truck was clean too: which definitely helps to ease the mind. My boyfriend and I will mos def use them again should we have to move again. I've already recommended them to 3 of my friends who are also moving. Seriously, do yourself a favor and use Solid Movers!!! They are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! Also, their pricing is more than fair!

Great service. Arrived on time. Helped us move other furniture to get the piece we had moved into our apartment. I would highly recommend. Movers were courteous and friendly. They wouldn't allow us to lift a finger during the move. The hourly rate was very market and cost efficient. I would use Solid Movers again.

Great service today. Value was good, very good, clean move in service! I'd recommend to everyone these guys, i have moved several times in the city and even though the job took longer, they have kept the original rate. Thanks again for help, great service!!!
