Smooth Move NYC was recommended via the U-haul website and the 5* reviews don't lie. Hiring Smooth Move was the best decision we've ever made and I can't thank Mike and his team enough for making this move the least stressful move I ever had. Mike coordinated everything via email and responded right away. Alex and his two colleagues moved our 3 bedroom 3rd floor walkup in no time. The furniture was carefully wrapped and everything arrived at our new place without damage. They were first rate & I highly recommend them!!!

My boyfriend and I booked Smooth Move through the U-Haul site to assist in loading our truck for a cross country move. The movers, Alex, Mike, and Victor were very professional and gave us total confidence that our belongings would make it into the truck and through a 12 hour drive unharmed. Alex is a master at packing trucks and he was able to pack everything in such a way that when we opened our truck when we got to our final destination, nothing inside had moved an inch. I couldn't recommend Smooth Move enough!

This is the second time I've used Smooth Move; and incredibly the guy (Alex) who moved me into the old place turned up to move me out! They did such an awesome job the first time that I had no hesitation in choosing them again for this move.I asked for two people to assist me for 2h on a weekend: I needed experts who could maneuver my larger, heavier, bulkier items. Alex and Victor arrived to assist.Same as last time, they handled everything with speed and efficiency. No slacking. No complaining. They arrived on time and busted their asses continuously. No damage was done to my furniture nor the walls.It's amazing to watch Alex organize everything into a tiny 9' U-Haul. It looked like every single cubic inch was filled with stuff.Next time I will take Alex and Mike's recommendation and get a larger truck. This makes for a more efficient use of their time; and simplifies the process of packing it. The only problem might be with the parking in NYC...I wholeheartedly recommend Smooth Move. From Mike's organizing to the work done by Alex and Victor it was a painless and efficient process.

Worked with Kenny and Alex today loading up my apartment. They were very efficient, finishing well within the two hours allotted to them! They both were extremely professional, hardworking and diligent. Would use this company time and time again!

Mike's team of Victor, Alex, and Austin absolutely dominated my studio apt when packing it up in the Uhaul I rented!!! I can't say enough positive things about Smooth Move NYC.I got a call quite literally to the second as soon as the clock struck 8:30am, and the team of 3 were able to pack my studio apt into the Uhaul (4 flights of stairs FYI) in 1hr15m flat. It was impressive to say the least.More importantly, these guys were fun. They smiled and laughed the whole way, made the entire process professional yet casual enough to be stress free, and in general were pleasant to work with.Not only that, Alex who was ultimately in charge of the final order of how they packed the truck, took the time to explain exactly how and why he was going to pack it a certain way to prevent any kind of slipping or moving of the contents inside.Overall an A++ experience, and will definitely use them again!
