I will start by saying read your contract thoroughly.  My move only took an hour, but I didn't realize they had a 3hr minimum, so I paid much more than I had planned. I'm a grad student, so the unexpected expense was rough! Also, if you buy their supplies, ask what comes in your package, because the kits are not as pictured, but Sheik was kind enough to give me an extra wardrobe box. I kind of consider these problems to be my fault though for not fully reading through everything, so that's why I am still rating 5 stars.Other than that, they are an outstanding moving company. Dave and Sheik answered my many questions via email with plenty of patience. My movers (Edwin, George, and Nate) were efficient, careful, and pleasant. I could not have asked for better movers. If your move will definitely take 3 hrs, I would not hesitate to book them.

We recently moved to Yardley, PA from NYC last weekend. While searching for movers, it was hard to fill out estimate forms because I hadn't started packing yet and had no idea how many boxes we would have. I heard back quickly from Sheik and Dave and they even offered to have someone come out free of charge to help us with an estimate. It was convenient to schedule and Yonattan (estimator) was lovely. We booked S&D right on the spot.Moving day: the movers came right on time and gave me a heads up text when they were on their way. Kumar and Damian were wonderful, and ended up doing the work of 3 movers since the third mover had a family emergency. Even though a third person was on their way at one point, Damian and Kumar were so efficient that the third mover wasn't needed. They showed up at our new place at the exact time they said they would and texted us when they were 30 min away, just as they promised. The move into the new apt was smooth and everything arrived intact.I HIGHLY recommend this company because their prices are fair, they are professional, communication is very timely, and they do what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it which is RARE thing nowadays! Also, when I settled my bill after the move was over, I was accidentally overcharged. Sheik remedied the situation immediately. I appreciated that so much because other places may have given me the run around. Overall, everyone is incredibly professional and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

The response from the management/owner - Shelik I see is outrageous and only speaks more about the company and their ethics:1. He suggests in his response we dumped our stuff to took pictures to discredit them ? and I quote "We would NEVER DUMP a client's belongings. They dumped the items and took a pic to try to discredit us. "Riiiiight. Sounds very logical. Because two busy mid 30s doctors, one working 80+ hours a week who are willing to pay someone to pack and unpack their stuff have nothing better to do over the weekend after their move than to DUMP  and STAGE their apartment to look like sh*t  so we could spend hours the following weekend cleaning it after afterwards ?And all of this misery  - all of it  - let me just say this out loud -  all so we could get an 80$ refund from a moving company ? Which collectively between the two of our salaries the two of us would make in maybe 10 minutes of work ? More so, I have time stamps for those photos - that show these were taken immediately after your guys left. 2. You spoke to your head guy Yonnatan ? Did the brother tell you that we moved from 1000 sq feet to 1300 sq feet ? He must have a bad eye for estimating space - as they had plenty of space to unpack. Stop saying we moved from larger to smaller apartment - it's the opposite you liar ! Floor plans for both addresses are publicly available if you google them. 3. We - and I will happily tell you - certainly did not give each one of your employees a $100+ tip. With their lazy cowering around, I could barely get my husband to tip them 20$ and that was only because they tried to get our big mirror into the place. Otherwise, his plans were to tip them 0$ - so your claims of us tipping them a 100$/piece are sweet but you may be smoking something if you claim I would tip your movers 500$ for the job they have done on a 2800 invoice. Unethical, shady company that took hours to move us - and this incredible response from the management only shows their true colors.Was going to not pursue this aside from yelp and trying to warn fellow new yorkers, but outright lying response from the owner, made me reconsider and I will be contacting BBB.

Found S&D on Yelp, went with the great reviews and I am so happy I did. This small size company is so organized, the staff is very friendly, very efficient and very careful. I love the fact that you can see and adjust your inventory online so you know exactly how much your move per item is going to cost you. No surprise, no gimmick, no headache and plenty of smiles!I  highly recommend S&D Moving who provided me with better service and quality than the big companies I had used in the past,

This was such a pleasant moving experience! They give you an inventory to fill out to get a precise quote in advance. They were on time, professional, friendly - even funny! They moved my one bedroom apartment in 4 hours and I couldn't be happier with how smoothly it went. Thank you Kumar, Edwin, and Ines! You made my move so easy I really appreciate it!!
