To me before this last move that I had - moving it was up there with having to listen to someone scratching their nails on a blackboard for hours. It was another version of torture, every move I have done since I have gotten out of college more horrible than the last. So to admit that I was not expecting a lot when I agreed with Reputable Moving to handle my most recent local move from Queens to Manhattan, it would be a safe bet. I was like yeah great reviews awesome - there has to be a catch something will go wrong it always does and it will cause me nightmares and my bank account to have repercussions for weeks to come.I had to admit I did like the Reputable moving team when I made the yelp request - they answered right away - they seemed friendly and polite I was like this is a plus. Then on the day of the move meeting The foreman and the team of guys of Moving company,I can say they still have me dumbstruck and it is 2 weeks later.The level of efficiency and professionalism that moving company did to make my move seem to finish faster than lightning, and without a scratch to anything or nothing lost and nothing damaged - they have my respect for a job well done.Now speaking of my pocketbook, I thought here it comes all of the "hidden" extras I am going to feel it. Lo and behold - not one of them - the price he quoted to me as an hourly rate - it stayed I was thrilled to no end. These guys are going to be my men - my movers not to say I move a lot I don't but these are now my guys.

These guys were my previous movers cancelled at the last minute, and I called them frantic hoping they could help answer to my prayers.   Here was my situation, and honestly I should have trusted my gut from the start would have saved me a lot of heartache and needing of extra strength aspirin.  I reached out to Reputable Moving - I had the great conversations with Eli and received my quote. I had another quote that came in......lower. Because I was trying to save money, I said I need to go with the other moving company. Still keeping the great customer service that Reputable Moving had given me in the back of my head.Day of my move comes, now I have a sectional that I specified would possibly not fit in my elevator, and I am a four flight walk up. Mind you, I said it - day of the move the other company comes and said it would be at least another $300 to take the couch down the stairs.  I was dumbstruck like how can this be I was honest and said from the beginning the sectional sofa may not fit now I am panicked. I have to be out of my apartment, and honestly I felt like just reaching for the wine, and calling it a day.  That was not an option. After some more going back and forth with the other moving company,they ended up saying they would not do my move for the price they quoted me, and I could not afford the extra expense they were now tacking on.  In other words, I need to get out of my apartment asap, and I am screwed beyond belief.In the middle of m panic attack, I call Reputable Moving and speak to Kelly probably sounding like a crazy lunatic she said to please stay calm let her speak to Eli. He and the guys were in the city that day; maybe they can do this as a second job. I was like I should have trusted my gut and went with Eli in the first place.  Anyway, long story short Eli and the men of Reputable Moving did a phenomenal job on my move. By that evening, instead of being in a hospital for chest pains that I thought I was going to be. I was sitting in my new apartment that was set up to my exact likes and specifications because Eli and the team asked me where I wanted everything, and they made sure my new apartment was situated. My old apartment was lef clean as a whistle, and not one thing was damaged.  Best part price I was quoted, it was the price that I actually paid I was so relieved.To say I adore these men and everyone associated with Reputable Moving is a gross understatement. I feel I am forever indebted to them. I tell my moving story at work, no one can believe it. They all say they want to use Eli and the Reputable Moving team for their next move.  Honest, all of yelp should use Eli and the guys they are fabulous I can't say enough about them.

If you ask me I was going to be lifetime New Yorker always living here forever I mean born and bred for life you know one of those New Yorkers.So here it is upon us long-distance moving and I have heard all of the horror stories - my mate had some from when they moved here from Texas to go to college here. I was like this will not be fun.  I knew of Reputable Moving from word of mouth actually I have family members who swore by Eli and the guys so when it came to deciding on a moving company, I never really had a thought I wanted to trust Reputable Moving because of the immense trust my family has in them.  I now understand why they have such trust in Eli and the team - from the first moment they met us - they embraced us and our moving experience - I know other people have said this but you have to understand it really does feel like they are treating you like they are moving their family members. They just are friendly and caring about their job and our home was packed up and left spotless I mean you could eat dinner off the floor was how clean the guys left us not a mark or a scratch.  Everything was so carefully wrapped and the men took their time to make sure no damage could occur.  It seemed like I blinked and we were packed up ready for the next step going to Texas. Best part, the price that I got as a quote and I am like no way is this staying - it was the price I did not have any hey here is a price gauge an additional $250.00 to pay to start your new life. Eli and the team was beyond up front with all costs, everything was black and white and explained no shocks.We timed our arrival in Texas perfectly to coincide with our belongings. We were settled in with the same care and precision that was used to be picked up. I now know why people gush about the team of Reputable Moving - they are that damn good a nicer group of guys you will never come across thanks guys.

The short: if you're looking for a really good moving company in the NYC area... I HIGHLY recommend Eli, Kelly & the rest of the Reputable Moving crew. They made our move so super easy and we are so appreciative!!The longer: I reached out to a bunch of different moving companies on Yelp after doing some research, and Eli (the owner) was the quickest to respond, was courteous & professional, and respected our budget. I got a quote through Yelp, and then corresponded with Kelly in the office, who helped finalize the details of the move and kept us super organized (she even prepped the insurance paperwork without having to ask!). Eli showed up with 4 moving men (but only charged us for 3!!)... they started early, were super efficient, but also very careful. They had wardrobe boxes, disassembled furniture, wrapped furniture & then reassembled when they dropped the furniture off in the new place. No extra charges were snuck in, and in fact, he didn't charge us for the extras (boxes, etc.) or the certificate of insurance. Every single person I interacted with at this company was awesome. They made our move incredibly easy, they were honest with their pricing, and I can't recommend them highly enough! Thanks, Eli, Kelly & team!!

I recently used the Reputable Moving team for a local move Bronx New York to Manhattan They were simply one of the most professional, friendly moving team who cared about their work, and they got the job done in what seemed like to me record time. Best of my entire move was problem and stress free beginning to the end no worries, no hassles and no fighting with a moving company. They arrived on time - they arrived ready to work - they all had smiles on their faces - each member of the team had a job, and they all excelled at the job they had.  My place I left was left spotless no marks anywhere which is a miracle since every time I moved, the movers always leave a scuff or something, but not Reputable Moving no a smidge anywhere.  I just stared around in amazement my final walkthrough with my landlord who was impressed beyond words with the job the team did.They had just as much precision and care with my new home. All my items were placed exactly where I asked them and they made I was settled in, and just like my former apartment the place was left spotless and I was able to just enjoy my new place.The team of Reputable Moving - these are the men that I will be referring to anybody who needs a mover, or who I will be using any of my future moving needs. They simply show what the meaning of great customer service and putting us first means. Job well done gentlemen.
