If I could travel back in time I would advise myself to go to yelp and read the reviews about PRISMA ... Oh boy I wish I had seen all those beautiful reviews here ...
The level of incompetence of the New York operation team is beyond everything you will experience in the U.S
When hiring a moving team you're hoping that:
1 - They won't damage anything - PRISMA failed (I had 2 pieces of furniture I asked special care, they were both got damaged ! - Among other things)
3 - That they will deliver on time - PRISMA failed (by 3 weeks. Just imagine yourself waiting in an empty apartment at your destination for 3 weeks ... And the associated cost)
3 - That they won't insult you - PRISMA failed (20 years in the US, I never heard a customer representative insult me until I met PRISMA ... Priceless)
4 - That the extras you'll have to pay will be reasonable - PRISMA failed. One thing for sure, you'll have to pay at destination, it's normal. It's not normal to have to pay 2K extra. They know very well when you sign, they just don't tell you so they stay cheaper than the competition
4 - They won't blackmail you - PRISMA failed (Once they have your furniture, it's pay or they keep it whatever the disappointment you have with them, with all the above mentioned, they won't make any commercial gesture and ask you to pay everything on time even though they are themselves 1 month late and that you have to buy tons of stuff while waiting in an empty apartment)

Do yourself a favor, pick another company. You might have issues as well but I guarantee you that you won't have them ALL.

I'm also hoping this review goes viral so these thieves get what they deserve. I hope next time someone googles PRISMA, they read PRISMA failed.

I'm so pissed, I'm going to write this review in as many places as possible, so see you on another website giving reviews about movers

I hired this company to move my belongings when I was pregnant and they changed the price on me after the fact. They where rude, unprofessional and just a total scam. My belongings whe finally moved into storage and I have an expansive piece of large artwork and a new luxory king sized Matress that are missing. I have tried sparing with the owner of the company who has denied moving my stuff when I was present when they picked up my things, he is unprofessional, talks over the top, has tried attacking me personally and refuses to deal with the issue. Dealing with this company has been nothing but stressful and a huge scam. Next stop NY ombadsman and consumer affairs. Wrong person to mess with Alex. You're nothing but a theaf.

My daughter used them to move her belongings from New Jersey to Calgary Canada. They were very rude and unprofessional.  They lied about the price, they sent an invoice and it was $500 more that it was in estimate.  She wanted to talk about the difference, they started blame her.  She wrote complain to BBB.   Aafter my daughter complained to BBB about them, they didn't pick up the phone and sent an invoice $400 more!  I need to call them and ask about the delivery, they said if we didn't pay they will charge us more and the shipment will be abandoned.  The lady on the phone was rude to me and yelled.  We paid them because we were afraid that the shipment would be lost/ Never use this company!!

An absolutely horrible company. Happy to take your business initially, but then treats you like garbage afterward. They blame any problems that happen on everyone else (the movers, the destination brokers, etc.). They then try to gouge you by charging all kinds of additional fees, and threaten to withhold your items until you pay.Spare yourself the agony and hire another company!!!!

Surely the worst freight forwarder you can experience, the took almost 8 months in shipping an international freight with all my furnitures... at the beginning when you hire the service everything goes smoothly well until you pay, afterwards you regret of you have done... please think it twice and take time for seeking for a better alternative (it won't be difficult, believe me...).
