History

Established in 2008. The movers here have at least 1 year experience while some have well over 10 years experience working in the industry for larger moving companies. My partner and I each have 10+ experience and are present on most jobs. We have worked on both coasts at companies in San Francisco such as Corrib Moving, Jack Trux, and Emerald Moving, and in Philly based companies like Tonka moving and Masmbo movers and NYC based companies Luke Rainbow movers and Arthur Werner. We now have taken all our experience and expertise and started our own own small moving operation geared towards 1 bedroom and studio apt moves for a very low fixed rate and reasonable hourly rates.

Efficient and professional. These guys moved me from UES to Greenpoint in 2.5 hours. Exactly as quoted and were super chill/nice to interact with. I'd recommend them to anyone. They even padded my tv, and wrapped my mattress and futon. Thank you so much fellas!

I have used Prime Movers several times and have recommended them to my friends as well. They are professional, reasonably priced (never any surprises) and, dare I say it, a pleasure to be around.Both my apartment moves have required walking up three flights of stairs and the dismantling and reassembling of some furniture - all jobs that Prime Movers handled with ease. A few last minute questions were answered with professional consideration a day before the move as well - just to put me nerves at rest. They're now my go to peeps, which is good because they've managed to squeeze in a few smaller pick-ups for me too: a couple of couches, that sort of thing. Thanks for all the help Prime Movers.

This is my first review after being on Yelp forever and it is worth it. I was in a bind. I needed to get rid of my piano by the next day because I was moving out. Someone bailed out on me at the last minute. Robert responded right away and set it up for the next morning. Him and his two other cool crew guys came and moved that heavy ass piano out. The family piano that was given to me was on its death bed to the dump because no one could find movers to help. Luckily a family friend reached out when Robert and his crew came who wanted it. They didn't mind to take the piano to a location about 10 blocks away and gave me a discount. It was not an easy move but they made it happen. Hire them to move anything and maybe book them for a show.
