After our furniture was delivered earlier this week, my husband spoke more in detail with Henry (our moving coordinator) & we were given answers as to why our move was delayed. We also re-read our contract and noticed some fine print that would have been helpful information up-front: for instance "guaranteed delivery within 30 days of first available move date unless $500 confirmed delivery fee is paid". Had we known that, we would have paid the $500 so we could be guaranteed our furniture sooner. Henry also made the error in pricing (from our first move last year) up to us after he was made aware of the discrepancy (via my first review). This is noted as a kind gesture on Presto's part & is greatly appreciated on our end.The moving team (pick up and delivery) for our second move was very courteous, prompt and professional. For the price, the whole deal isn't bad. If you're flexible on your delivery date, then I recommend them- if you need your stuff by a guaranteed date, then I recommend asking them about the $500 confirmed delivery fee.

First time hiring movers in my life. But the piece of mind they gave me over the phone was great. They gave me an estimate. " only over the phone because they surprise surprise had no one that was able to come to my house to see"So, they said  1600.00 from Los Angeles to Vegas. They show up TWO hours late. I have a tight schedule. And bam, the whole thing JUMPS to nearly $3000.00. But then, I said " hey my parents were movers for 15 years. And that is bull shit" the cost went down to 1800. I told them to get out. Will never work with someone so unprofessional again.

I spent twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force and I made six PCS Moves and this one was after I retired and had to foot the bill on my own.  Obviously, this is the worst move I have ever made.  When I looked on the internet for a mover, I was courted by Eddie, Presto Logistics, in Southern California and he compared his company with others.  Compared to DOT rating, Presto Logistics looked better than a few other companies that I was considering.  Boy was I wrong.  My shipment arrive three days late and eleven items short.  After two weeks no lost items found?  Two smaller trucks picked up our household good then was transferred to a larger, eighteen wheeler.  I watched the truck driver as he helped unload the boxes and keep tally at the same time.  At the end, he said eleven boxes were missing then all of a sudden these eleven boxes appeared out of nowhere,  The next day  began to look for certain items but could not be found.  So I went back and tallied all of the boxes and guess what, eleven boxes missing.  I then called Eddie and he didn't really want to help because it was customer service responsibility now.  Then I talked to Velma.  Trying to talk to her after my shipment arrived two weeks ago was like trying to talk to a brick wall.  I just got the run around at this point.  My first four years in the USAF I worked in transportation (TMO) receiving freight and I know the game. Based on the way the truck was packed when it arrived at our new destination, I'll bet a C-Note those eleven boxes didn't get on the truck.  How can you miss a LARGE WARDROBE box and a LARGE, RED DOLLY.  At this point, I stand to lose a lot of valuable items.  Most importantly, I do not recommend Presto Logistic as a mover.

I was really excited when I first spoke with Ryan on the phone.  He seemed knowledgable and was really well spoken.  I started the estimate of my move with Ryan the first week of September 2015 to prepare for my move October 1st.  Just a note when you are moving with any moving company don't trust their estimates, if I hadn't counted my boxes and gotten the exact cubic feet I would have been 30 feet short and had to pay an extra $100 the day of the move.  Luckily I was cautious, but still, as I would later find out, not cautious enough. The day of the move came and the driver immediately told me he would have to charge a "Long Carry fee" of $95 because he couldn't park in front of the building.I argued with him, and showed him that he indeed could, so I was able to avoid that first trap. Then I was charged $30 for taping supplies, even though they used my personal taping supplies for the move as well as theirs. Then he tried to make a case for the long carry again because he was "afraid" to use my elevator, which worked fine.I was feeling pretty good about the whole things as an extra $30 isn't too bad considering.  I started the first half of my move. Then After waiting 2 weeks to get my things...They finally arrived at my place, but said the 18 wheeler couldn't pull in front of the house.AN 18 WHEELER WON'T FIT ANYWHERE.  THEY DO THIS ON PURPOSE SO THEY CAN CHARGE YOU...wait for it...An Extra $350.00 to redeliver your things.  They also normally charge an extra $700.00 to hold your things overnight, that they can't deliver because of their truck. However, they were "nice" enough to waive that fee.  I can't imagine anyone who has let them charge that extra bit.I hesitate to call them criminals, but this is ludicrous. They had my address long before they had delivered, but they decide to tell me, the day of delivery, that they can't.I also had to pay an extra fee to use a credit card when I first paid them.  Sorry, but when you are paying over $1000.00 to move your things across country you shouldn't have to pay any credit card fee.To avoid the fee again when they came to redeliver they suggested that I go out and get them cash otherwise they could not deliver. If you have any enemies then send them to presto logistics, where they will surely be [EXPLICIT]ed.

Go with another moving company. I chose this company for my move from LA to Denver. Their rep Eddie was the one I dealt with & he was great! Answered all my questions & concerns & made it all very clear. The pickup in LA went smoothly. The guys were friendly and efficient and very good and communicating with with every step of the way. I was stoked it was going so smoothly. They were on time & on budget. I myself got to Denver on the 1st of September. My items arrived about a little over a week later. Not TOO bad. But just a big inconvenience to wait to feel like you're home. The team that delivered my possessions were completely different people. Fine. But the foreman was unbelievably rude & one of his helpers kept giving me suggestive looks and comments as he brought my things upstairs. Way to make a woman feel uncomfortable in her own home. The furniture that had been disassembled in LA for moving purposes - NEVER got reassembled here (even though that was in the contract) They left a TON of trash around my apartment for me to clean up myself. More than half of my boxes were shipped upside down despite having 'FRAGILE' & 'THIS SIDE UP' written all over them. I had several items of mine not just broken but SMASHED. A few entire boxes came looking like an elephant just sat on them. They broke a drawer one of my dressers as well. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFFI realized today as I unpacked one of the last boxes - I HAD MY JEWELRY STOLEN. As I opened the box I realized things had been moved around. (I remembered exactly how I packed this one BECAUSE it had valuables in it) And as I took the jewelry box out & opened it up - I realized SEVERAL items were missing. Some of monetary value. But most of sentimental value that CANNOT be replaced. Maybe it was my bad for trusting in a professional company to act according. Lesson learned. Can't trust anyone. So thank you to Presto Logistics in teaching me the values trust & confidence in professionalism. [the ONLY reason I've given them the 2 stars is because of my moving rep Eddie & the three gentleman who helped me pack up my apartment in LA - they were awesome]
