Got this recommendation from my local U-Haul and was not disappointed. Moving can be a nightmare, but On The Move USA made it as smooth as they possibly could for me. Can't say enough about Frank--he's a stand-up kind if guy. Honest, professional, and a genuinely nice and helpful person. Jose and Maurice did my job, and I would describe them the same way. They loaded with care, like experts, and secured all of my belongings well. Don't plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to call them. Highly recommend...THANK YOU!

We had never used On the Move before, we just chose them from the U-Haul website for our cross-country move from New Jersey to California using U-Haul's U-Boxes.Frank was great with pre-move communication (about U-Box delivery time, Certificate of Insurance to enter the building, etc).The day of the move they were running late because the previous customer had underestimated how many U-Boxes they needed. We were fine with that, because we were running late with our packing, too...Once the movers arrived and started loading, I'll echo other reviews and say that Frank and his crew were wizards at packing an unbelievable amount of stuff into each U-Box. They were fast and efficient.Unfortunately for us, we too had badly underestimated how much stuff we had, and we were left with an entire U-Box's worth of stuff left over. We had ordered two (hoping we might only need one!) and we actually needed three.This is where Frank went above and beyond. It was already the end of the day, and we were flying out to California the next morning. So, in co-ordination with our super, Frank came back the next day with a third U-Box (we had to update our order with U-Haul of course) and packed all the remaining stuff into it while we were on a plane.Then at the local New Jersey U-Haul center, Frank oversaw the U-Haul staff re-balancing the loads between the three boxes (we had a lot of heavy stuff and those U-Boxes have a weight limit). He also got heavy-duty locks for me, because the locks I'd provided weren't strong enough.We just picked up the U-Boxes here in California, and all our stuff inside survived the cross-continent trip!The moral of the story: if you're in the NYC/New Jersey area, and you're using U-Boxes to move, then Frank and On The Move will make sure everything goes smoothly. The other moral: book one more U-Box than you think you need!

This has been the week from hell and I've had no time to properly plan for anything and even task rabbit failed on me. I turned to Google for last minute movers with vans and fortunately found On the Move USA and Frank! I didn't have any furniture to move but I did have a heavy boxes, suitcases and bags. Initially I thought a friend & I could do this but given I had surgery 3 weeks ago it was quickly sinking in doing this on my own would be a horrible idea. Frank got the job done in an hour. He was prompt, friendly and we got a great rate. He even made sure to maximize the corner space I had reserved for these items. I'll definitely be turning to On the Move USA for future moves.

Due to a set of unfortunate circumstances, I had to schedule a same day move recently.Naomi and On The Move USA were fantastic and came through for me in every way. Naomi really jumped through hoops to make my move happen with only about 3 hours notice. She obtained a certificate of insurance, offered helpful advice about the Uhaul u-box service and communicated quickly, accurately and gracefully. The moving service itself was prompt, careful and efficient (thanks, Frank & Mike!).I would certainly use On The Move USA again and will recommend them to anyone who asks!

Frank and Maurice from On The Move USA provided the best possible service when helping to move me out of a 4th-floor walkup and into a UHaul UBox. Frank was communicative and informative in the days before the move, and helped me to navigate the very fragmented and confusing UHaul/MovingHelp system.On the day of the move, Frank and Maurice showed up on time and worked incredibly hard to fit the contents of our 1-BR apartment into a single UBox. This included packing and re-packing the UBox to accommodate our fragile and oddly-shaped items. The final result was a tightly and carefully packed UBox, which saved us from having to rent and move a second UBox. AND they did all this (on a hot day) while maintaining high energy and good cheer, making a stressful move day much more pleasant for everyone involved.THANK YOU to Frank and Maurice! Highly recommended to other movers out there.
