Olympus Moving was an amazing experience! I had to move items from the Northeast to the Southeast despite already initially moving to the area so it had to be handled remotely. Natalie was extremely responsive and helpful with every question I had and believe me I had a bunch of them. I also had to change the move date last minute and to a Sunday and there were no issues. Once move day came, the movers moved promptly and efficiently and made sure to pack up everything. Once the delivery came, it was super smooth and extremely fast. I cannot recommend a company more than Olympus. Not sure where these negative reviews are coming from because I did not have even 1 issue. Thanks Olympus!!!!

Worst Experience Ever!!  Wish I had read the reviews before hiring this company!!  I get furious when I think about it!  We hired them to move us from CT to AZ.  The driver of the truck who picked up my things and the driver who delivered them were both extremely rude and chauvinistic. Whenever I tried to speak to either of them they would turn around and walk away without acknowledging me at all.  I finally had to have my husband do all of the communicating with them as my blood pressure was through the roof!  After they loaded all of our things they told us that the person they sent to give the estimate had grossly underestimated the price and they charged us $4000 more than the original price!!!  Yes that's $4000 more!!!!  What can you do when they have all your belongings on their truck and you're desperate?!?!?When the truck arrived in AZ they did not lay down any carpet runners and used a hand truck to go up my stairs leaving black marks.  I told them to either cover the carpet or hand carry the furniture up the stairs.  The movers ignored me and went up the stairs again with the hand truck.  So I had to have my husband tell the one in charge that they could not do that again.  He came in, wiped the stairs with his hand and tried to tell us they didn't make the marks.  I told them that yes they did as the carpets had just been cleaned.  We ended up having to place runners on the stairs ourselves as they continued to use the hand truck.  They made lots of nicks on our walls and then tried to cover them up with furniture.  They made a huge scratch in the wood floor and whenever I tried to point out things that they were doing wrong I was dismissed or told that I was wrong.  They put a table together that would not sit evenly on all four legs and when I pointed it out he said the table was 100 years old!!  They would not take ANY of the packing, including the wrap they used on our furniture away with them.  He told me we paid good money for the trash and we get to keep it.  RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!!!!  I've used several moving companies in my past and this one is the absolute worst!

***** WARNING _ WARNING _ WARNING **** DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!Giving you the short version because my story is too long and my blood pressure goes up every time I think about this experience. Moved from New York to Las Vegas. Quoted one price on the phone and via email. After my belongings were picked up from my residence and storage unit I was told I had to pay an additional $1000 or my things would be held until I paid. So basically I was held up without a gun. The driver kept asking me for tip money even though the contract states I'm not obligated to tip or can tip for 5-10%. When my things arrived in Las Vegas, every box was torn open and/or crushed. When the mover was almost finished I noticed my tv was missing, he said he had another delivery to make and if he found it he would bring it back. I told him the truck was not moving until my tv was found. I had to get in the truck myself to find my tv was packed with another customers belongings under their tv, thank goodness it wasn't crushed. Since unpacking, I have noticed things are missing, mostly kitchen items. Didn't bother filing a claim because the aggravation is not worth it and the items were inexpensive. One of my boxes contained another persons items which were lotion, shampoo,etc. Thank goodness it wasn't anything of value so I know with all the hole in my boxes I'm 100% sure my missing things are in other customers boxes. Trust me, you do not or should not hire this company unless you want to be ripped off and lose your belongings. So much more to this story but just wanted to warn anyone who is considering using their service. The positive reviews surely have been written by Olympus employees or family and friends. I am a big advocate of commending people for excellent service but will turn you down as well when is bad or horrible. This is the worst experience I have had with any company and I hope people take heed of this warning. *** DO NOT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ***

They suggested one price and then quoted another.  They simply don't have strong business acumen. And wasted several days of my time. I just don't think they get it. It's about the customer.

Terrible experience! Do not use them ever!I moved from New Jersey to California. During the on-site estimate, they asked how many small/medium/large boxes I would have. However, on the day of the move, they never differentiated the size of the boxes and treated all of them with a flat rate. This was never explained clearly to me even though I talked to their representative on the phone multiple times. The pick-up person was passionate, but he kept asking for 20% tips (out of the $4000 total), despite their company policy that tips should be 5 - 10%. They promised to dissemble the furniture at the destination, but they never did, and they did not clean up after themselves, simply leaving "We are movers, not cleaners."If you are an employee of this company reading this, I strongly encourage you to change your job to another moving company. This company promotes very poor ethics.
