I used this moving company after I found them on yelp to move within the New York area. My new place is on the 5 th floor and has no elevator but these guys still carried all my heavy stuff. I only had 1 van full of stuff so it only costed $300 and I paid in cash so it was even cheaper. If I was moving again I would recommend them!!! Also none of my stuff was broken but I mostly had clothes shoes and cheap plastic furniture. Nothing fragile. Fast on time and friendly service. Would recommend!! Pay cash.

NYC Moves gave me the lowest quote for my recent move out of about 10 requests from other local movers. The team was very professional and quick! They arrived right on time, packed me up, and delivered everything across town all in under 45 minutes! I was able to schedule a weekend slot on short notice, and again, they gave me the lowest price by far! I had several other moving companies quote me 5x NYC Moves's price. I would 100% use them again - they made an NYC move not terrible (and that's saying something)!

The beginning of the month can be a very difficult and expensive time to find movers. I only had one week to find both a new apartment and movers to help transfer my things. It seemed as if every moving company I called was either booked until autumn or had inflated their service minimum due to increased demand. Thankfully, when I called NYC Moves I was not only offered their services, but I was quoted at a significantly lower price than other companies I contacted. In a matter of minutes, they alleviated the burden of moving. On the morning of the move, they showed up 45 minutes earlier than I was expecting them. With most services, I would not typically appreciate such a severe breach of an anticipated arrival window, but moving is different. I wanted to be finished as soon as possible, and they were able to make that happen. They came with 10 men (for a studio apartment) and began working immediately. All of my things were carefully blanketed and packed into their truck within a half hour of their arrival. Half of them came to unpack the truck at the destination, but they moved just as quickly. They made sure to reconstruct my furniture in the exact way I had it before and they placed all of my things exactly where I needed them. This team of men were the most careful and alacritous movers I have ever met and they were certainly worth the hire.

Great response time when planning and excellent work by the movers. Moved us out of a 5th floor walk up in 45 minutes flat. Very courteous and professional. Flat rate pricing. Couldn't ask for a better service! Thanks very much!
