Great pricing! They worked with me very good budget wise!! Great Customer service!! Gave me free moving blankets for my parents mirrors, full packing services, moving pad insurance and extra boxes!! Very clean and organized!! I didn't even have to move a finger. They were really kind, respectful and humble people. Imagine I had too move my parents From New York!! Too Florida!! Thinking it might of been a hassle, but hey it was easy as pie!! Thank you NY Budget Movers!! Def. Will refer friends and family!!

Normally I do refrain from giving a business a 1-star, but this place is an exception. What a bunch of crooks working in this place! First they estimated my move to be 700$ and then like every other review on this page has stated, they increased their price to 1300$ once everything was loaded on the truck because "I had more stuff". So 3 more average sized boxes are going to cost you $600 extra dollars huh. And beware as they take your belongings as hostage unless you pay them everything in full beforehand in CASH. They won't tell this before hand. They will only let you know once everything is in their Truck so there is more chances for you to agree to their ridiculous charges. It's highway robbery! I did not have 1100$ in cash (200$ advance in CC), so I had to run to the bank on a Saturday, they wont move my belongings in my apt without the cash.Also, never got a receipt even when specifically asking for it two times. The foreman ran away without giving me the receipt.May be they did not want me to show the receipt to anyone or complain to concerned authorities since it has 200$ charge for some tape they used and a 2 boxes to cover my TV and glass tables. 200$ for tape and 2 boxes! Can you believe it? If this is not highway robbery I don't know what is.NY budget movers and all it's employees should be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers this way. I can't believe how they are still in business.Hate to say this but readers please don't give them any business, these people are crooks!

This company was recommended by our building superintendent after we "fired" the original one we were going to use after they attempted to increase their cost by almost 50% from their original quote for a move from Jersey City to Pennsylvania.  Only a few days before our move, Rashad from NY Budget Movers came to our apartment and quoted us a great price in line with what we expected to pay.  On move date, they arrived on time with 3 friendly guys (including Rashad), packed everything very efficiently, moved us to PA that day, set up the furniture where we wanted it, didn't break anything and stuck with their quoted price.  This was as stress-free as an interstate move can get.  What more could you want?

I am warning you NOW!!! Do NOT use this company... By the time they finished loading the truck, they told me that I would have to pay 2000 more than the original price told. When I asked why, they refused to give me a concrete answer, and when I asked if I will have to be able to take some out to decrease the new price, they gave me two options, either pay the new price or the movers will unload my things and leave it in the street.When I tried to speak to the moving coordinator, Rose, she gave me attitude and hung up on me several times. I wanted to give this new company start up a chance and they fucked me over. The agreement was to pay 60% upon pick-up and 40% upon delivery. I ended up not using their services because Rose was trying to make me pay more than the 60% during pick up cash (no money order which was weird) and threatened to keep my things in the storage (not deliver it) until I pay what she asked. At that point, I wasn't comfortable with that company having my things so I just decided to rent a uhaul and drive the 20 hours.
