Wow, New York Nomads are fantastic! I had a somewhat complicated (at least it seemed to me--not to them!)1 bedroom move from Philadelphia to Manhattan that required my stuff to be stored for about a week and a half and they made the move seamless and simple. From the time I began communicating with with Djordje to request a quote  all the way through him following up with me to make sure everything was satisfactory with my move afterwards he was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. They were more affordable and very straightforward with their quote with the all-inclusive price and no hidden charges, rather than many of the other companies I got quotes from that were going to nickle and dime me for every piece of moving pad, tape, tolls etc. The day prior to the moves, Olga called to confirm my moves which gave me peace of mind.They arrived right on time and contacted me prior to let me know where they were and their ETA. The two movers were super friendly, worked fast and efficiently, but took time to protect and secure all of my items. They moved me out of my apartment in Philadelphia in just less than 2 hours and moved my stuff and stored it in New York until my apartment there was ready for me to move-in.  I was a little nervous about my stuff being out of my sight and stored somewhere, but there was absolutely no need for my nervousness after moving with them!When I was ready to move in about a week and a half later, Olga once again called to confirm my move and let me know when they were going to arrive. Like clockwork, they called me to let me know where they were and exactly what time they would be here and they showed up again with all of my stuff completely secured and protected and moved it promptly into my apartment in New York. They were just as friendly, courteous, and efficient as they were the first time. All of my stuff was in the the same condition it was when it left Philadelphia, nothing broken, scratched, or missing!I was hesitant at first to book them because they didn't have a large amount of reviews but I'm so glad I did. They FAR exceeded my expectations and made my move so easy and simple. I can't thank them enough for how easy they made my move to the city. I highly recommend New York Nomads for your move! I'll definitely be using them for any of my future moves.

excellent one word, they moved my one bedroom apartment from west village to uws for less than 4 hours, arrived on time, super careful and very organized.  I was very satisfied with the service and more than  happy to give them big tip... Use them they are the best!

Amazing service and care given at every turn. Both were a pleasure to work with on my temporary move from long island to the Bronx. I definitely will be using them again in a couple of months when our condo is ready in New Rochelle. They were on time and did so much more than requested. I hope they enjoyed the chicken cutlet parm heros I got them.....this company sets a bar all moving companies should strive to get. Thank you!!!!

Had a wonderful experience with NY Nomads. We had to change the date of our move many times and Olga was super understanding and accommodating. When we finally were able to set the date, they were on time, respectful of our things, and very polite. I have had nightmare experiences with movers before and NY Nomads was the total opposite experience. I cannot give enough praise to this company. I would highly recommend to anyone.

If I could give George (aka Dorde) and his team 10 stars, I would! They are a small family business and are the epitome of what a customer-centric company should be. We had to book movers last minute to move from a 1-bedroom rental to a strict co-op, and Olga (co-owner) accommodated immediately with all the information needed for our co-op (COI, etc). George and his team showed up on-time and parked right outside our apartment at 8am on the UWS and said if parking became an issue, they would deal with it. They moved all our heavy boxes onto the truck, wrapped all our big pieces carefully and efficiently, and were driving up to our new apartment by 9:30am. The same efficiency in packing up was mirrored exactly in unpacking! They placed boxes in the specific rooms we delegated, unwrapped everything, and was done with the move by 10:30am! That's a full apartment move in under 3 hours!! George was very pleasant to talk to and his team worked non-stop. We HIGHLY recommend them for any move in and out of New York for very reasonable prices.
