This is a scam company. They also go by name of AV Movers of 403 Brighton beach ave. I booked a 1 bdroom apt move in fort lee nj, talked to their sales guy Alex Bunin who sent me over certificate of insurance. All seemed ok and i had only 1 day to move because the apt was sold to a new owner.20 min before theyre supposed to show up they call me and tel me the truck is broken and they cant find a new truck. I offered to go and rent a truck as long as they brought the movers over, they said they can't because the movers have to stay w their own truck, and they are unable to rent another truck anywhere (which was a total lie), basically a bullshit copout reason, they found a better paying gig at same time schedule and dumped me. Do not use these scumbags!  Ill be reporting them to better biz bureau

BEWARE: THIS IS A SCAM. We hired these same guys in New Jersey. After coming to an agreement with Alex Bunin over the phone, we experienced similar issues as everyone else that rated this scam a 1 star. Don't do it!

Hidden fees. In their ad they say "no travel time fee," but when i  contacted them to get an idea of how many hours i would need they told me this: "Hi, we charge 80$ an hour and we have 2 hours minimum plus 1 hour travel time additional. Total minimum is 3 hours plus 60$ for insurance" that equals out to $150 per hour.  When i asked why they advertised otherwise it was just reiterated that it is their policy to charge. Ok, so then don't advertise otherwise!

Be warned. This place is a SCAM. My girlfriend and I finalized the details of our new place earlier this week, so we had to scramble to find a mover that would move my stuff and hers to our new apartment. I did a search for best rated movers and, I guess not surprisingly, Best Movers came up. I should have taken it as a warning sign, even more so when "Alexander" had no problem scheduling our move for the end of the month, at any time with very few questions about what I was moving and how long it would take. After a few emails, I had a "quote" sent over.I had a weird feeling about the whole thing and asked a few people about movers they'd used. No one even knew who these guys were. I returned to their Yelp page and found nothing. Then I found them at CitySearch. At first, I felt relieved -- they had a dozen or so highly positive reviews. Whew! But upon further investigation, it turned out that all the reviewers were dummy profiles giving glowing reviews to Best Movers and their satellite companies in other cities.So my girlfriend and I worked the phones and found another mover who seemed more realistic and, well, real! Once that was locked in, I emailed "Alexander" to let him know we were going in a different direction. He responded with the charming "u r 100% idiot." Classy!I thanked him for confirming my belief that this place was a screw job, and I'm relieved I didn't trust this apparently fake company with our stuff. Live and learn.
