Just moved out of NYC and hired these guys. Best decision I made. They were professional, quick and took care of my things with care. Highly recommend them!

DON'T USE THEM. The positive reviews are not genuine. I'd give zero stars if I could.In short...- They price low and add all manner of things that end up doubling your price.- They will say soothing things on the day to induce a better tip. You're compelled to, since they have your belongings!- Their representatives don't have movingsolutions email address...very strange, but I will answer that shortly.- We had over $1,000 of furniture broken/damaged.Now onto the damage claims...- Their tactic is to say that your specialist left the job and they have to start the claim again.- They don't answer when they know it's a claim, or alternatively, "it's being processed now"- Your damaged goods will cost over a $1,000 to replace but according to their calculations you're entitled to no more than $200- They don't pay. Simple as that.So.....movingsolutions thinks my move to Chicago means I have no reason to be in NJ to take them to small claims court? Put my application through this morning -- wish me luck.

Still no follow up from these people nearly a year later. I call regularly, they ignore my calls, and I have gotten NO insurance check to date. Mind you, they calculated my damages to be ~$160, while under the appropriate calculation, they are over $900! Regardless, they have outright refused to send a check, even acknowledging they are responsible for at least some level of damage, and should compensate me. They have simply refused. Horrible business practices at this company. Save yourself, and do not use them. They also deleted my pictures of the damaged goods (don't worry, I posted some again). I hope they keep deleting them, just so I can keep adding them back. Gotta love some these fake reviews they are using to boost sales. I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS YOU FRAUDULENT LIARS!!!

Let me start off by saying, if I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. This is by far the absolute worst and most disorganized moving company that my fiancée and I have both ever encountered. We hired them to move us from MA to CA and we could not have been any more disappointed. They are liars, they are manipulative and they are thieves. First of all, they didn't show up to our apartment to move us out until 9:30 PM (granted it was due to traffic); but, they were still literally 8 hours late and did not keep us updated. They finally arrived and helped us move our things, which took until 2:30 AM. RIDICULOUS. The man handling our move was a liar, as well. He did not explain that we would later be charged for the amount of stairs leading up to our new apartment. Nor did he explain the ridiculous pricing that they would charge us for the actual move. We were absolutely ripped off. Our items took longer than expected and our move in day could not have been any more disorganized. The only positive was the young man named Anthony (whom helped us in both loading and unloading our items). He was a wonderful and attentive employee. He was helpful, he asked questions and he was very kind. Anthony also notified us that we would be charged for the amount of stairs we had leading up to our new place. Apparently, we should have been notified of this before the move even occurred; however, there was no mention of it whatsoever. He explained that his BOSS had been neglecting to tell their customers about this policy and was basically robbing people of their money. Luckily, Anthony did not charge us for the stair fee because he realized how unfair it would be to us for not having been informed prior to the move in. After all items were unloaded, we soon came to realize how horrible this company actually was. Our futon was broken and our dressers were completely chewed up.We also noticed that Anthony and his cousin (not even affiliated with the company, but was there to help because Anthony was sent ALONE from New Jersey) were waiting on the curb outside of our new place in CA for over 3 hours. The driver of the moving truck was "busy" with another load and did not have time to return until he was finished. At least, that is what we were told. We had no problem with Anthony and his cousin waiting; we just felt awful and astonished of the ridiculous disorganization that was occurring.After all of our boxes were unpacked, we came to realize we were missing a few. So, I called the company and was promised that our things would be out on their next shipment and we would be receiving them soon... I had not heard from them in over a week and when I called again, I spoke to the woman who had been handling all of our questions and whatnot throughout. She immediately notified me (on her own personal phone) that she had quit the company because of their lies, disorganization and complete lack of respect for their customers. Now, Moving Solutions, LLC is conveniently not answering their phone. Little do they know; however, that we will not stop until we either receive our missing items or are FULLY reimbursed. Please, please, save yourself the stress and hassle and do NOT use this company.

A complete RIPOFF and a total scam. They sweet talk you until they get your order. Once they get the order, they charged me twice for what was put in the truck. They went by tagging each item and they started tagging all simple items that would actually fit in a box. They will give you the estimate after everything is done and it will blow the bazookas of what their estimate actually was. And guess what, they lost my bed frames, tv desk, microwave after 3000$ later. These guys are ridiculous. I dont even know when or if at all I would even get them!
