We began as a Long Island moving company and after some time, it only seemed natural to add on the storage facilities. Our Floral Park, NY headquarters are the home for our modern fleet of moving trucks and tractor trailers suited for both residential and commercial moving.It is also the location of our first storage facility — the vault warehouse. The second storage facility is conveniently located in Huntington, NY, on the north shore. From these locations, we serve all of Long Island with top-notch storage facilities, and all of the east coast with top-notch moving services.

History

Established in 1985. Men on the Move was established in 1985 and is centrally headquartered on the border the Queens Nassau in Floral Park, New York. Men on the Move has over 25 vehicles to perform Local, Long Distance, and International Moving in and around Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau & Suffolk counties. We also have Traditional Vault Storage and Self Storage in Floral Park, NY and Huntington Station, NY. We had a GREAT experience! We had another mover booked and ready and at the last minute they cancelled on us. Called Men on the Move and they jumped right in! They were on time, friendly, and worked hard both days!  They even moved a huge table that the previous owner left. Thank You!

The company said we should use 3 guys for the list of items sent, we agreed to 3 men. First, they came almost an hour early when we didn't have the keys to it new place just yet and weren't back at the house we were moving out of. Second, they were in shock over the amount of items that matched the list he was holding in his hand exactly. To top it all off, one of the three men took several bathroom breaks. Two of these breaks were over 30 minutes each to the point the other two movers were making comments. We ordered and bought them lunch since I personally think it is the right thing to do. Somehow, we were charged for three movers for the entire time! Showing up early, excessive breaks and lunch break. Overall, they didn't damage a single thing and were very nice. But the timing and charges didn't make any sense to us.

Unfortunately 4 of my items were damaged. I take meticulous care of my furniture. 2 dressers were scratched & the wood dented in several locations. My wood fireplace top was broken off. And my beautiful couch was cracked in half!!! I was really stressed & upset to have my furniture arrive so damaged. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!
