We have had nightmare experiences with movers in the past (used JD Carton + Sons several times in the last 20 years because of a personal connection and we just assumed that moving was a nightmare and there was no way around it since we were treated so poorly many times over by a business where we knew the owners.  (We've moved many times within NJ & NY.) The last time was the final straw (when they damaged several irreplaceable antiques and told us they were not responsible) and we finally decided to use another mover (MayPan).  We were not expecting much since we'd had 20 years of nightmares but they floored us with their service from beginning to end.  To begin, they were very personable and efficient in scheduling us and it is the owner that you speak with from the beginning (wife).  The other owner is on all jobs (husband) and he is a powerhouse and manages his workers beautifully.  We have a tough job because we have a lot of furniture and it is very large and heavy and we have many valuable antiques.  They came in right at the estimate even though it was an all day job that took two large trucks.  They even called in other workers off of other jobs when we were nearing the end of the day so that we could finish a bit earlier so our house was crawling with efficient people.  Each guy was extremely polite and respectful to each of our family members.  There was damage to a couple of pieces (the least amount of damage that has ever occurred on one of our jobs) and when we pointed it out the owner himself came right over and took the pieces which were antiques, and in a couple of weeks he returned them in perfect condition - he obviously works with gifted restorers bc I am extremely picky and even I thought their work was perfect.  The best part however is that there was no question about who was at fault or who would cover it.  He just repaired the items.  We will never ever use another moving company again.  Just make sure to call in advance to schedule because they are so great that they fill up quickly.

I will NEVER use another moving company again.  ** These guys are that good!! ** They were extremely professional & efficient.  Took great care of all our stuff, including our NEW HOME's walls and wood floors.  Five Stars is not enough.~ Logan

This firm is the best mover we have used. We have had several nightmare experiences, and were so glad a neighbor recommended them.  We even called them for a local move in Connecticut after our move from NJ.  Price is reasonable, but more importantly they understand the stress of moving and treat our items with care.  Very friendly and helpful team.

Maypan Moving is a fantastic family owned company. They are reliable, professional, and trustworthy.  I have used them many times with moves in New York and New Jersey.  They arrive on time and the guys work together very efficiently.  I would never use any other moving company.

We used MayPan 16 years ago for our house move & was very happy. Used them again today for my Aunt, and all went smoothly. They were on time & very efficient. We highly recommend this moving company!
