Just had another (now 2) fantastic experiences using Katz for my moving needs, so figured I should leave a review and get this on the books.Booking was very easy, and the price was so competitive (for moving into a 2BR/2BA) that I did not seek other quotes. The Foreman for our move was Nigel, he arrived a bit ahead of the window to make sure everything was all-set and check out the departure apartment. The rest of the crew showed up shortly after. Even though I'd seen the Katz approach in action before, I continued to be amazed by the professionalism, quality. and speed of the move. They even disassembled and re-assembled my bed more intricately than I'd though necessary (to avoid any risk the frame not fitting in the elevators). The crew also took special care of the delicate boxes and electronics, especially w/ a 65" OLED TV that I felt pretty nervous about (no dings or scratches).I don't plan to move for awhile now - but rest assured if I do pack my boxes again it'd only be after having picked up the phone and making a call to Katz!

I hired Katz for my cross country move (NYC to CA) because of all the great reviews they had unfortunately I did NOT have a 5 star experience. I spoke with Ina before deciding to move forward she was great. Answered all my questions, returned calls and emails timely. Then my move happened on 7/18. I was told by belongings would arrive by 8/5, as of today 8/16 not only have I not received my belongings I've not spoken to Ina since. I spoke with Tony in operations who called apologetically and offered a date and discount off my balance. That date he offered came and went and no belongings. I think it's important to also mention they only moved boxes for me no furniture that would've probably taken much longer. Whenever I call I'm told Ina is out to lunch and I get transferred to operations voicemail. I still have no idea when I will get my belongings. On 8/20/17 my delivery was received because of the horrible experience I had, Katz Moving agreed to waive my balance.

From the first visit, to estimate my studio apartment move, by Gary, to the heroic effort by Jermaine, Eric, and Danny to get me moved in on a terribly rainy day at a building still under construction, with a 450 foot walk down a ramp, these guys were the best. Not to forget the crew who packed my old apartment under tight space and time constraints, also a great group led by Greg, along with Frankie and Ronel (sp? Sorry, I am bad with names).After 3 prior moves in the city involving two different movers, each one worse than the last, I can happily and wholeheartedly recommend Katz Moving. Hard working, careful, respectful of building rules and efficient in every move. Thank you all.Tom

This  is an update to my previous  unsatisfactory  review for my last moving job with this company. The owner of the business contacted me and did a  thorough investigation  as to what happened during my move. He  took the time to answer my questions and did the best he could not explain why it happened.  He also reimbursed me for some of my losses during this move.  I was very impressed by his responsiveness and his sincerity  to make things  right with me.   I  would use this company again.

My husband and I were very pleased with Katz Moving.  Frank communicated with me very clearly and promptly from day one.  If I needed to add items to our inventory list, he would do so with no issue.  Ina was also very good about arranging the certificates of insurance and e-mailing them to me so quickly, which I appreciated.  I never felt like I was waiting long to receive an e-mail or phone call back.  Truly impressed and pleased with the communication at Katz Moving. The quote was clear and reasonable as well.On the day of the move, Koba, Matthew, and Nelson all arrived on time.  We were really impressed with how quickly and efficiently these three moved our belongings.  They were so fast, but also very careful with our things.  I want to acknowledge and say thank you to these guys for how hard they were working and hustling.  It really makes a difference to have a moving company and movers who are professional, easy to communicate with, and thorough.  I highly recommend Katz Moving to anyone.  Thanks for making the moving process a lot less stressful!
