These guys were the best.  They did an unloading job for me for a 2 bedroom 3rd floor walk up.  I had a upack on the street full of heirloom antique furniture.  They were great and careful with all the items as they were delicate and fragile.  My bff oversaw their work and gave them thorough instruction from the roadside and I helped them arrange everything in one room as I didn't get to clean the apt yet.  There was one thing that set them apart.  My couch didn't fit through the door and required the neighbors door to be open to get it in as well as my door being removed.  They came back 3 days later just to move the couch in.  I obviously tipped them but it was above and beyond the call of duty.  I would hire them again in a heartbeat.  Great prices as well.

Moving? Not sure which movers are reliable and responsible? Think that someone readily picking up the phone when you call = trustworthy? Well, please do yourself a huge favor and STAY AWAY from Joe and Sons. Otherwise, feel free to risk making an already stressful moving day 100 times worse when they don't show up on your move day. I'll admit, I'm your run-of-the-mill Yelp user. I read reviews, but rarely feel so strongly (either positively negatively) about a business to write a review.  Joe and Sons is worth my effort to express how much they completely left me up a creek on my moving day. I was doing a local move from Queens to Manhattan. The building I was moving into required proof of movers' insurance. When Joe and Sons said they indeed had insurance, I felt reassured that I was likely to be dealing with a legitimate company. FIRST red flag. I asked Joe and Sons if they could show me the certificate of insurance as well. Their response: we'll show you on the day of the move. SECOND red flag. I asked for them to show me a contract. Their response: we'll show you on the day of the move. SOMEWHAT reassured: I called the night before my move to confirm the time the movers were coming. Joe and Sons: "Sure, yup. You got it. We'll be there." On my move day, the movers were 1 hour late. I called Joe and Sons and was told the movers were "on their way." 2 hours later, I called to check in again when the movers hadn't arrived. Their reply again, "They're on their way." Third check in call after they STILL weren't there, and Joe and Sons decides to tell me, "Our movers are coming from New Jersey and they had car trouble."Need I say more? Joe and Sons, you can go ahead and reply and try to get yourself out of this one. And to be fair fellow Yelpers, I DID give Joe and Sons an opportunity to apologize for this and they didn't.

If I couldgive negative stars I would. To summarize the two guys that went to deliver a piece of furtiture were: RUDE & DISGUSTING. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!  I will keep this short.  No Cert of Insurance.  Showed up very late.  Broke my furniture.  Said they would repair and never did.  Has ignored any and all correspondence to remedy the issue for 3 months.This company is a complete sham.

THE WORST!!!!! Unprofessional!!! I followed behind the truck to ensure no damage to my goods. As they were in transit to my new home, the driver hit another car on the road but failed to pull over!!! YIKES! The car that was hit fishtailed on the highway but managed to chase him down! DRAMA...to say the least. The story continues but our FINEST NY PD are handling that now! Unless you have been longing to star in a SOAP OPERA, go with another company!
