Intense Movers

I've never had to use movers before and this was a wonderful first experience. We moved our belongings from a Manhattan Mini Storage to a 5th floor studio walk-up and realized on short notice that we probably wouldn't be able to handle it ourselves. The company was quick to respond to my initial request and they were always prompt in answering my queries. Communication was almost entirely over email to make sure we were on the same page. The quote was by far the most reasonable of the many places I called, and the service was well worth it.Max and Rob were our movers and they were incredible. They were ahead of schedule and actually got us in two hours early! They were even early for the earlier pickup time. They made the process faster and easier than it had ever been before, and they were kind and polite to boot. They worked incredibly hard and we really appreciate it. I will absolutely return to Intense Movers for my next move and I strongly suggest you do the same.

These guys are absolutely awesome. I've used them twice now. Everything here is top notch:- Good, quick communicators, gave me clear instructions and a good guideline- Worked with me on estimating my inventory and even allowed me to edit until 5pm the night before (and changed the price!)- GREAT price, seriously I shopped a ton and they were the best flat rate I found (you have to pay a portion in cash)- Polite, helpful, nice movers, who were super careful and considerate of my time and property- FAST, these guys got a day I was absolutely dreading would be an 8 hour affair done in like 3.5- Very flexible, and straightforward about what they could and couldn't do and whyJust a no bullshit, set of good guys who know what they are doing, and are good at it. Give 'em a call.

This was my first time using a moving company and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Having heard many different types of stories, I was a bit concerned going in - price, availability, dependability, etc. And I'm a researcher. I vetted several companies and Intense Movers was: -The best price by FAR-Speedy with emails-Accommodating with my requestsI mean, what else can you ask for?I had several changes throughout the process like the items I would need to be shipped (within Astoria) and they got back right away with the updated price and/or information. When it came to the day of the actual move, they were a few hours early which didn't matter because I made myself free just in case this happened. They came in their colorful truck and did the entire job under an hour (including wrapping my mattress, table, chairs, etc.) Make sure you do your part. Make sure everything is ready to go because these guys aren't packing your stuff. They're moving it. They were so awesome and great to chat with. If it's under a certain range you have to pay in cash which I didn't mind. No damage to any of my belongings. I would definitely recommend them (and already have!) to others. Stress free on my mind and my wallet.

Just used intense movers for the second time, and it exceeded all expectations. Max and Kofi were amazing, so friendly, and moved all of my things safely and quickly. Would highly recommend asking for them specifically - thank you guys!!

These guys set a new standard for service and customer care. I had the misfortune of moving into an apartment where the Landlord told me last minute I had to change my move-in date, during one of the busiest moving weeks of the year. Intense movers were super accommodating when I had to switch the time of my move and the crew that helped me were willing to do whatever it took to get the task at hand done. Request Justin and Antonio -- they were fantastic.
