This is the second time I've used this company for a move.  Liked them a lot the first time, but LOVED them the second time.   They are obsessed with caring for things precious to you, and even things not so precious.  Maybe a bit obsessive compulsive, but that's a good trait for movers.  Fast and efficient too.   Perfect!

I've used Greenbaum Expert Moving twice. Both times they arrived on time, dove in immediately, moved quickly but carefully and stuck to the flate rate we were quoted- no hidden charges. Both times our furniture arrived all in one piece with no scrapes, dents or any other damage. Both times their quoted rates were on par with other moving companies. It is expensive- but it's moving. Do you really want to do it yourself? First move was a bit complicated as my boyfriend and I were moving in together for the first time to a new apartment. Three guys were able to move him out of his third floor walkup in Bay Ridge, me out of my sixth floor elevator building in Harlem, then bring everything into our new fourth floor walkup in Harlem in half a day- 9:30AM to 1:30PM. It started snowing towards the end and they trudged through manfully with no complaints.Our second move was only a few months later due to a change in situation. Three guys (including Brad from our first move, hi Brad!) moved us out of the fourth - floor Harlem walkup to a first floor in Jersey City in half a day (impressive considering the travel time).These guys are super professional. I can't stress enough how easy they made everything. Moving day was a breeze! I recommend them without hesitation and would definitely use them again- though hopefully we will be staying put for awhile this time!

Greenbaum gave me the most competitive quote I was able to find and still came in under budget. The guys were friendly, quick, and efficient. They took great care of my stuff including some delicate pieces, and they even gave me a yummy restaurant recommendation around the corner from my new place. I'm definitely calling them the next time I move.

This review is long overdue.  Used them two years ago.  Prompt, professional yet friendly, careful, reasonably priced and did not nickel and dime.  Exactly what you are looking for in a moving company.  I'm about to move again and just shot Grainger an email.  Doesn't that say it all?

Came through in a pinch! Waited to the last minute assuming my last movers would be available, and (spoiler alert) they weren't! Back to Yelp I went! Made a handful of calls and found Greenbaum in the area. Left them a message and got a call back shortly. Gave me an estimate, and an arrival window. Updates along the way, and when they showed up, the crew was very friendly and handled my stuff with care. Moving can be stressful obviously, so it's always a pleasure when the movers are a little compassionate, and not afraid to start the job as you hustle to tie up loose ends. Items were handled with care and they were very diligent. Would definitely work with them again!
