I'm very well used to rude and asshole NYC drivers, so it takes a lot to piss me off. Today really hit a nerve.I was driving with my 6 month old on the car in Hell's Kitchen and a Father and Son moving truck decided that because he was larger he could run a red light and turn directly in front of my car while I was turning right on a green. Nearly took the side of my car off had I not stopped just in time. Instead of doing the typical NYC hello to the driver I called to report him to the company, figuring that was the right and mature thing to do. I was so wrong...This was the response I received from the guy that answered, who I'm pretty sure was the "Father" of Father and Son Moving company in NYC:Me: Hi, I'd like to report the driving of one of your drivers who just nearly hit me.Guy: "Pause..." So...?Me: One of your drivers just nearly hit the front of my car while he was running a red light.Guy: So fucking what. "Pause..." Me: Excuse me? Guy: You must be a pussy...Me: What did you just say...?Guy: Fuck you, you faggot, You must have had a dick up your ass.Then I'm hung up on...I call back:Me: What the f*** did you just say.Guy: Fuck you, you faggot ass pussy. You must be a yuppy faggot and love dicks.Me: No fuck you, do you not realise that your driver's a complete asshole who'll one day kill someone by the way he's driving...I then get hung up on again...I don't bother calling back, because it'd just be useless a dick swinging contest and also know that calling the police to report anything would be a waste of time. These guys just need to go out of business. Complete worthless scum.I couldn't have made this up if I tried...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We hired them because thought they were an honest family run business. We were wrong!! They completely took advantage! They overcharged us. Did not complete move. Caused damage they will not pay for. They couldn't move a dresser because they said it was too heavy. It was moved in with no problems. Charged an EXTRA $600 to move it. I would give them zero stars in allowed!

I used this company 3 years ago when I moved, and back then, they were awesome.My husband and I moved again this past weekend, and I was horrified and furious at the service we got.They showed up late, they bitched about having to make 2 additional stops (even though we paid for it AND it was on the order). The company only sent 3 movers, and a medium sized truck even though we told them we had three bedrooms to move. One mover rarely got off the truck, and when he did, he broke some of my fragile items (which were marked). Another mover had a bum knee, and the company sent him anyway, knowing it was a walk up. The truck was not big enough, they took several 30 minute breaks, expected my husband to help them (isn't that what we were paying THEM for??), and didn't even finish the job. WE sent THEM home at 10:30 (PM) after 14 hours of crap from them, and then had to finish moving all of our stuff ourselves the next day.I will NEVER use them again, and I'd advise no one else call them either.

I was very hesitant to use this company, but my mother knew a couple of guys that worked there so i gave it a try. NEVER USE THEM. They complained the entire time. This is heavy that is heavy. We can't bring your refrigerator its too heavy and we don't have any carts to bring it down. (this was already told to them what large equipment and furniture we had and was told no problem). they arrived two hours later than they were suppose to be. Once they started we (my family and I) attempted to help them because we said five body's is better than three. They were not happy we were helping and continuously told us to stop( 2nd time annoying me). once we get to the place the driver complains oh we were told you are on the first floor. We had explained the first floor is really is a flight of stairs(complain #10003 on why they need better people working in the office) next comes well this changes the price. why we explained everything. the price jumps 4 hundred dollars more and they didn't want to give us our furniture until we gave them the money. give the money because i want my items. (more complaining from them along with numerous cigarette breaks) unload  truck (more cigarette breaks)breaks back and handle of refrigerator. two boxes clearly marked fragile dishes are broken. finally movers say they are done and locks truck and drives off. I say a wood dresser is missing. Call company they said movers said everything was brought in. after much protest from us the movers call us and tell us they were so tired and it was too heavy for them right now that's why they didn't bring it up and left it on the truck. So total damage dresser missing, dishes broken, refrigerator broken and countless boxes damaged because they were rolled instead of put on a hand truck, beds not reassembled as they unassembled them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE wish i could give them a negative start.

If I could give them zero stars. I would.  I didn't even get to the part where we moved and I experienced horror on their customer service end.  The easiest part of a move is getting the COI and they couldn't even do that for me.  I faxed them the information well in advance and they don't do email or anything modern so if you want any type of confirmation that they're going to do your move....you won't have it.  They send buildings the certificate of insurance THE DAY BEFORE THE MOVE.  As someone who likes having stuff done in advance to avoid any confusion, this did not sit well especially since I had nothing in writing to confirm anything regarding the move...not even the rates.  When I called to inquire about the COI i was strung along (for a week) by several of their employees who said someone would call me back.  No one ever did.  Finally I spoke to SAL who explained their "day before" policy and who claimed he was "the smartest guy there" and that was why he was the only person that could explain this to me.... Not only did he speak to me in a condescending tone but he seemed to think very poorly of his own staff which was another blaring red flag for me.  Needless to say, I decided to cancel my appointment with them and I hope no one else ever uses them.Also that link to their website is wrong.
