I priced out purchasing moving boxes from U-Haul or Home Depot, and it worked out to slightly cheaper, but then when I factored in having them delivered or getting a cab to lug them back to my place, and then having to dispose of them after the move (and our new place has very strict rules about disposal of moving waste) it was a no-brainer. These guys were prompt, responsive (even for an emergency call on a Saturday). Moving is a stressful task no matter how you slice it, but my choice to go with with EZ Bins was one of the best decisions I made to make my move go smoothly.

Overall very pleased with my EZ Bins experience. There was a bit of a problem when they dropped off the boxes (they only dropped off the number of boxes for a studio instead of the number of boxes for a 1-bedroom -- and of course I didn't realize until after they had left!). No big deal though as I called and they swung back around with the extra boxes I was owed. We also had a bit of trouble scheduling the pickup of our bins as they could not accommodate the day I requested, but the people I spoke with on the phone were always friendly and flexible, so I can't complain too much.The EZ Bins are sturdy and meant to be stacked, which means no shifting around inside the moving truck. They are also the perfect size; it's pretty hard to overload them and make them too heavy to lift. We didn't even have to use the supplied dolly.Be forewarned: the bins ARE just a teeny bit too wide to fit comfortably through a standard-sized doorway if you are picking them up by the handholds. Watch out you don't ding up your knuckles!I loved that having a looming pickup date forced me to unpack my belongings. Never again will I use cardboard boxes to move!

This made our move so much easier! Not only were these a very eco friendly option, it forced us to unpack rather quickly. Each box comes with lables and you can also purchase dividers for your kitchen items. Genius!

Using hard plastic bins definitely makes moving easier! That said, I give EZ bins two stars because of the service. Our order was incomplete upon delivery. We didn't get the missing items until nearly midnight the following day!Pickup of the bins was also a nightmare- I could not get a slot for the bins to be collected for a good 4 days after I'd unpacked. And after finally setting up and confirming the pickup time, the driver didn't show up! Worst of all, their dispatch was rude when we called to complain and only offered us an alternate pickup TWO NIGHTS LATER! I still have the bins kicking about my tiny apartment. Sorry EZ Bins - but in an age of Make Space, Gorilla Bins and other services, this just is NOT up to par!

Customer Service FAIL.We had a simple miscommunication with the drivers BOTH on drop off and pick up. The customer service rep responded by blaming us rather than with a productive solution. Using bins instead of boxes for a move is awesome but that can easily sour when the customer service rep forgets support isn't about being right it's about willingness to make something right. Moving is stressful, no doubt...a customer service rep should help alleviate that, not point fingers and stomp her feet.TIP:The drivers will not buzz your apartment or knock on your door, regardless of the fact that you have an appointment.
