I am not generally inclined to write reviews however, the very rosy reviews of this company are highly suspect to me. My items arrived in NY with EXCESSIVE wear. ALL Of the boxes were crushed, 1/3 of the moving blankets "protecting" my furniture had holes from wear during transit and I found a number of broken items in boxes (including a metal grill pan that was broken). I have moved cross country twice and understand that moving takes a toll on your stuff. This however was more than excessive.

Additionally, the movers did not practice social distancing, took off their masks and refused to wash their hands. Upon delivery one was talking to his friend about how he wasn't feeling well.

I would choose another company.

We moved from San Francisco to New York and met with Ron, who was very friendly and helpful with the moving process. The move was painless; our items arrived on time after being in storage for 1month safely and without scratches.

My friend had used California New York Express for a recent move and raved about her experience. So when I had to relocate for my work at short notice, I decided to use them. I couldn't have been happier. I didn't have much furniture but was concerned about how my art pieces would be moved. All was done through email. It was great and all my questions were answered and explained clearly how my art would be packaged and shipped.
