With our fully trained relocation staff on hand to assist you at any time, you, the customer, can be rest assured that you will receive assistance from our caring personnel. Your personal belongings and house hold goods will be treated with care, and consideration as well. All your furniture will be carefully wrapped in professional quilted moving blankets free of charge. We also offer expert crating and packing for valuables and breakables, such as antiques, pianos, and fine art. We welcome last minute moves and storage without any extra cost to you. There are also no extra charges for, weekends, holidays,and pianos.

WHAT WE DO TO MOVE YOU? Moving is a time-consuming process which typically needs to adhere to a time-sensitive schedule. You may be unsure of what your moving needs are, or will be, until your actual move date. But with Beacon Moving & Storage we will eliminate your fears and concerns. We begin with a consultation. We will consult with you via phone, e-mail or in person and help you identify and uncover your priorities. Once we have established your requirements, we assess and advise you of the services available and that are required to facilitate your job. We will discuss everything with you from proper packing and insurance to transporting your pets and vehicles. An inventory of your items or boxes will be taken. A copy of your inventory will be given to you for review and approval. Upon approval we will proceed with loading your items or boxes.

Keep your copy of the inventory on hand. Once the truck arrives at your new location your inventory copy will now be used as your personal checklist. As each item or box is removed from the truck and carried to your new home, you will cross reference the item to your inventory list and check it off as it is received. Make note of any discrepancies between the actual item being received and your inventory list. Of course, all efforts will be made to eliminate or minimize damages to your items. Unfortunately, however, it is not an unrealistic possibility. Therefore, any boxes or items that appear damaged, open and/or inspect in the presence of the driver. If your items are not in the condition in which they left the originating location, note the damage on the inventory sheet before you sign it. If I could give a zero I would! Do not hire this company!  They purposely low ball you so they can get your business then triple charge you than what was quoted! By then your stuff is in the truck and you have to leave in a couple of days so what am I to do? I try to call them but Emma is like it is what it is! No remorse! The dispatcher Stephanie rudest person ever! Don't know how she sleeps at night! Once they take your money they don't care!  They told me my stuffs would be delivered on November 27 but didn't come in till December 7. They make you sign papers that they don't give you and expect you to memorize it!  Such monkey business! Hire else where! #badservice #theystealyourmoney

BEWARE! I should have done my research before I used Beacon movers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! We were quoted one price (by Tatiana and Joe), and then on moving day were told we needed to pay an additional $1500. We said no, we would pay the agreed upon and guaranteed price and take up he issue with management. We gave them exact measurements of every item we were moving and on moving day they said our stuff took up more space than expected and that was what the charge was for even through our price was guaranteed. 4 weeks later our stuff arrived at our new place (almost across the country)... spent those 4 weeks before the movers showed up calling and emailing beacon movers trying to sort out the price discrepancy but they always said they would get back to me and then stopped picking up. When they arrived with our stuff at 8pm on a Sunday (surprise! They called us 30 min away and said they were coming). They held our items ransom until we could provide them with a money order for the extra money, so we were forced to pay. They then took 6 hours! To move 1 apartment's worth of stuff. There were only two little guys who were nice but not professional movers. My boyfriend and I had to move along with them in order to be done before 2 am.We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and are looking for a partial refund for $1500 in extra charges they surprised us with. They are still giving us and the BBB the run around (since mid July). They keep saying someone will review and get back to us, or that we need to just call "so and so" but it goes right to voicemail. They also did a good amount of damage to our apartment as well as our items along with losing a few things too. Oh and the head guy (Levani) told me to "go F&$@ myself" when I emailed and politely asked that we discuss a partial refund. So that was nice.This is one of those times you should believe the reviews and run away from these people!!!!!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.  I wish I had read the reviews. Summary:Furniture scratched.  Delayed delivery/ no consideration of delivery window Extra charge for a separate rental truck for deliveryTerrible customer serviceThey told me to give them 1 week notice to deliver my belongings so I gave them 2 weeks and followed daily asking for an update.  They kept saying the "driver would let me know closer to requested delivery date."  Well the requested delivery date is two days from now and after speaking with dispatch they said the driver will be here next week.  Beautiful.  So now I am working on their timeline, which is still not definite and will have to take a day off of work to be there to move.  I spoke with dispatcher named Luce French and was hoping she could provide some sort of customer service to assuage my feelings.  I said I did not want to pay for such bad service to which she responded, "I guess you just won't get your stuff then." These are the types of individuals they employ at Beacon.  She then informed me that I needed to have cash or a postal order when the driver comes or else they would hold my belongings ransom (and I've read similar notes in other posts).  Here's to hoping all of my belongings arrive on-time and in one piece.  Will update this once the driver is "closer."Update - leading up to the day of the delivery I called dispatch every day to get an update.  They gave me the driver's phone number and told me to communicate with him directly.  At this point that was fine with me since 'dispatch' is clearly not capable of handling expectations.   After speaking to the driver he let me know that he would probably need to rent a smaller truck to maneuver around San Francisco.  After a bunch of miscommunication of whose responsibility it was to organize this whole debacle I told him to just rent it.  Luckily the cost of the move isn't falling on my shoulders but the charges are still frustrating as hell.  The whole transaction was really shady, at first the driver told me $250 dollars then changed his mind to $350.  I made sure to write the total in pen on the receipt so he wouldn't be able to hide the cost anywhere.  (Also, what one-day rental cost $350?)  Unfortunately all of these extra charges are hidden in a binding email receipt they send you at the beginning.  I didn't receive a copy of the terms I signed on pick-up until I requested it.  Also, technically, my delivery date was 11/1/15 and they didn't deliver until 11/28/15 so they did not abide by their 21 day delivery window they claim to work with.  I received my stuff and some of the furniture was scratched and a few screws were missing.  Honestly after bearing through the whole ordeal I was just glad to be rid of Beacon moving company.  Just the worst.

Don't trust this company. They keep contacting my parents about moving services asking for me saying I contacted them. I never even heard of them nor have I ever contacted anyone about moving. Be careful

A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!I had the exact same terrible experience as the other ppl who wrote reviews did! Not only was I quoted a much lower price than it actually was by Joe, but they lost some of my furniture along the way. My furniture also arrived much later than I was told. TheY worked with Unique Van lines. I hate both these companies. It was the worst experience of my life! I hope there is some sort of class action lawsuit and I hope their business goes bankrupt and shuts down! Run away from them!!!!
