If you end up picking this shady company as your mover, make sure to backtrack the business address they use. I called the Teterboro address, only to told that Atlas Moving was never a tenant in the complex. John Montgomery quoted me a fair price, movers showed up late. That's fine, every item was accounted for. Price still managed to be upped by 30% with no explanation after everything was packed. Stuff doesn't reach new apartment, had been in the apartment for two weeks already. John Montgomery's phone turned off. I get a call from 'unknown caller' with name and number of driver... no name of caller or return number. Driver sometimes answers, 'I'll get there when I get there.' My stuff arrives 3.5 weeks after it got packaged and shipped out, my total price was upped by 50%, never heard from John Montgomery again after the original pickup, coffee table broken.Advice to you if John is still in business (and not in jail): - demand movers take inventory before removing any items to confirm contracted price beforehand- contracted delivery date- take picture of plate number on truck- get backup number from John, someone else's number, because he won't call you back- stay in contact with the FMCSA

I hope this is the one from Teterboro (as per paper work)."Atlas Moving Company"Where to start.. - They came about an hour and a half late, after the one hour grace period. - They were missing one employee (paid for four people, but only three people showed up). - Unprofessional. Tried to call the manager/boss and he had an argument with us. We tried to reconcile the fact that there was a guy missing, and price should be adjusted accordingly. He was yelling, and telling us that we should be grateful because we were getting a good deal.- The movers were not trained proper body mechanics, and do not have any safety equipment, not even a weight support belt. - They had barely any moving equipment. All they had was a hand truck, dolly, sheets, and cardboard. Would never recommend this to anyone. Stay away.

I will NEVER forget these low-life scumbag crooks...hope they are out of business, out of the country and in JAIL....July 2009, still remember all my valuables you either lost or damaged...ROT IN HELL!!

STAY AWAY!!! It was awful. They made an extremely stressful situation much much worse. I was quoted for 3 hours, 3 men and $435. It was 6 hours and $1000. They are crooks. They didn't even finish and now I have to go back to my old apartment and get a few more loads. They also packed my roommate's furniture and loaded into my apt. It was the worst moving experience I have ever had.

Also known as Atlas relocation (teterboro nj) They are crooks. John Montgomery will quote you a cheap price and the movers will load the truck, drive to your new home and demand double the quoted price in cash to remove your belongings. Stay far away from Atlas.
