I've had to downgrade from 4 to 2 stars unfortunately. We finally moved and pulled our stuff out of storage. The one box that was a bit crunched had our dishes in it that were completely smashed. Plus, I just realized we are missing a box of all our kitchen bakeware. Ugh

If I could give ZERO stars that would be too many. Monica was super helpful right up until we paid and then it was a chore to get any information. Our belongs took 17 days to arrive, when we were assured that it would be 14 or less. The guys who delivered it were really great, but they were subcontractors - Monica assured me they don't use subcontractors and even sent me a picture of the truck my goods would be travelling in. Nope, not the same truck.  After many emails and phone calls and THREE rescheduled deliveries (the driver must not have known where he was?!), our things arrived.  Well, most of them. We are missing nine boxes. I attempted to reach the company to file a claim but can't get any response at all. They were dirt cheap and there's a reason. Avoid this company!!

I called All Star Moving Services. Spoke to a woman named Monica. She gave me a price for the moving. I agreed to use this company. I needed moving on a Sunday. She gave me the hours of moving to be 12pm to 4 pm. I am sitting here waiting at 3 pm and no movers have showed up yet. I called the office 2x. A man calls me up telling me that I need to stop calling the office. That I am stressing him out. I told him that I am moving and stressed out already. The office should call me what's going on. No one has called me to explain anything. That the driver calls me to tell me 45 minutes.  Forty five minutes passes and no one shows up. Then I call again. The driver tells me another 45 minutes. That goes by and no one shows up. Then finally they pull up at four with this huge truck. That I told them that I am moving from a one bedroom. That I don't need a big truck. A big truck would be more money. The truck was blocking the street. No one would be able to get through. I told them that needed to leave. I don't appreciate waiting for a 12pm appointment. The driver tells me that I will not get a refund. I told him that I already called someone about this problem. Next I was calling the Federal Motors Carrier. Apparently, the same thing they did to a disabled person. They were doing to methey did to this woman. The lady had them move her out anyway and they charged her more money for big truck. The fixed price was for the whole day. Not for a truck. These people are scammers. Do not use them. Save your money and go to someone else.

RUN!!! ALL STAR RELOCATION ARE SCAMMERS WHO WILL LOSE/BREAK YOUR STUFF AND UP THE PRICE EVERY CHANCE THEY GET! Read the reviews and you will notice a recurring theme:First, you'll receive a really affordable estimate.Next, they tell you whatever you want to hear to secure a depositOnce you secure a deposit and sign the contract.... YOU BECOME THEIR BITCHThey will charge whatever they want and treat your belongings like garbage; withholding the fact that they will pass your things around from state to state, storage bin to storage bin, truck to truck. Your things will have more hands on it then the neighborhood slut. Once back in your possession, it won't be recognizable after such abuse, assuming it all even shows up.  Here's my storyI relocated from Philadelphia to Miami for college. As you can imagine, money is tight. So when I received an estimate from All Star Relocation for just $825 I immediately jumped at the offer. A week after securing my deposit, movers arrive at my home in Philly to grab my things.Day of MoveDuring the estimate conversation, I was very specific about what I was moving - 10 boxes (small, med, large) a 48 inch TV, Queen bed mattress, and two totes. Simple right! Well not for All Star Relocation. The price ends up being $187 more than expected, I told Jessica (sales woman) everything I was moving, but it still ends up being nearly $200 more. WTF!As pissed as I was, by this point my things were loaded on the truck and half of the bill was in their pocket, so I went ahead and signed for the move. 10 days later the truck finally arrives to Miami, but not when it was promised and not with all of my things.Day of ArrivalThe driver calls me 30 mins before arrival and asks me if a my apartment building can accommodate a large truck. I said yes, because it was super spacious. Before the driver even arrives, he assures me that his truck won't fit and that it will be a $400 additional charge to walk my things up to my floor." Again, he said this all before he even arrived!!!The delivery guy arrives and doesn't even attempt to get the truck into my apartment parking lot. He insists that he needs an extra $400 to move my things from street to my floor (i have an elevator btw). As mentioned earlier, money is tight and I didn't have an EXTRA $400 to give him. So I asked for him to just leave my things on the curb and I'll find help from someone else. He said he can't. So I called the police. That's right, I had to call the POLICE. Two ladies officers showed up, and completely sided with me. The delivery driver was forced release my things from his truck. Unfortunately the officers couldn't force him to move it to my floor so he dropped my stuff at the curb and a few maintenance guys from my building helped me move my belongings up to my apartment. THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS...ALL STAR MOVERS DIDN'T EVEN MOVE MY THINGS UP TO MY NEW HOME. It was dropped at the curb. After a traumatizing experience, I begin to unpack only to notice the tote with all of my FAMILY PHOTOS from the time I was a baby were missing. Irreplaceable stuff was now gone forever. Along with the stand for my TV, and a bunch of other really important things documents. To top it off, the insurance I thought I had, (the insurance Jessica assured me I had) only provides 60 cents per pound per article (she forgot to mention). The insurance doesn't provide the full value per item. Not that any amount of money could replace family photos. In other words, I will receive a $36 check for a LARGE tote full of VERY IMPORTANT BELONGINGS THAT THIS COMPANY LOST. Not to mention, my boxes were ripped open, totes were falling apart, my mirror and dishes were broken and so on and so on...When I complained to Jessica at All Star, she could care less. There was absolutely no sympathy or apology's from the company for how I was treated. I received nothing, just a $36 check for a traumatizing experience and missing childhood photos. Please do not leave your valuables or anything you own in their possession. Please, I'm begging you. It's not worth it.

My sister found All Star Moving online and talked to Monica. Monica was very nice and polite during the process in the beginning. We looked at other moving companies but All Star had the lowest price and since we were moving from Connecticut to Texas. We settled with All Star because we thought we were getting a good deal. We paid the deposit then things changed. The movers were scheduled to come on Friday from 10-2. They did not show up until after 5. After they showed up they started talking about what they would not load on the truck. No Ikea furniture because it breaks too easy. Monica had stated that the drawers did not need to be emptied but the movers said that we had to empty the drawers. The movers then stated that we did not have enough room for all of our stuff and left all boxes except 3 small boxes. My sister called Monica who then became extremely rude. Monica stated that we would just have to purchase more space for an additional $2000. After my sister tried to reason with her, she hung up in my sister's face. I tried to call on Saturday due to them being closed by the time I got off work. Jessica was very helpful at first but clueless. She called the dispatcher who stated the same thing. We did not pay enough for the space allotted. I called later and talked to Jessica again,  Monica must have talked to her because she then became rude also. Monica stated that she would not come get my stuff unless I paid for another move. Then stated they would bring my stuff as soon as possible even though it was not scheduled to arrive until Friday or Saturday. She told me that I have to pay today with credit or pay with cash or money order on delivery. I was then stressed because I did not have the money due to me getting paid on Friday. The mover called me on Sunday and stated that he was 40 mins out. He arrived 20 mins later but I was at Walmart getting money orders. He refused to unload my furniture until I gave him all of the money. I had to go and get more money. He then tried to get more money because I live on the second floor. He said I had to pay $75 for stairs. I pointed out on my contract where it states that the first flight is free. He finally started unloading. He unloaded the whole truck but refused to carry my sectional, washer, and dryer upstairs. He said I will come back tomorrow. I told him he can't leave my stuff outside all night. I told him to put it back on the truck and bring it back tomorrow. My roommate and I helped him carry part of the sectional upstairs. He gave us such a hard time I was not going to help him move anything else since he was paid to move my furniture. Eventually he left my furniture under the stairs of my downstairs neighbor all night. I wrote a note and left it on the furniture hoping that it did not get stolen overnight. The next day I started calling him at 7:30 am to try to get him to come back and finish his job. He told me he is busy and then hung up on me. I called Monica. She said she would call the dispatcher to find out what happened. She then called me back and back to her rude self saying that he did not move my stuff because I refused to pay a long haul fee of $70 and a stairs fee of $75. I told her I have a witness that he said he was coming back on Monday. I had to stay at home that Monday to try to find someone to move my furniture. The maintenance men at my apartment were nice enough to bring my stuff upstairs for me. I sent emails to All Star but they have been unanswered. They broke 2 dressers and one plastic tub. They also did not load 962 cubic feet like they were supposed to, as stated in the contract.
