This was a complex move. So much could have gone wrong. Everything went perfectly. We are in our 50s and have moved around the country and internationally every few years for most of our lives. This was probably the most agreeable move we have ever experienced.The move involved packing all the usual stuff plus some extremely old and fragile items of considerable sentimental value. There were two pick-up locations: a second-floor walk-up in a neighborhood with narrow streets and cluttered sidewalks, and a storage unit about five miles away. The delivery point was an old, three-floor house with steep, irregular, and very narrow stairs. Furniture had to be lifted from the ground to a second-floor balcony, then carried through the house or up to the third floor. It was a hot day. Igor and his two colleagues were thoroughly professional and pleasant throughout. They maintained an efficient pace and were accommodating to the point of being gracious when we ended up asking them to take about one-third more stuff than we had originally indicated. Not one thing was lost or damaged. The price was reasonable and there was no hassle of any sort. It is rare to work with movers as honest and careful as these.

This was my first move using a moving company to do the job and I couldn't have been happier to have Igor and his company taking care of us. We moved from NJ to CT and we were able to do the whole job (loadin/loadout with driving time) in 9 hours, which is just outstanding. We moved about 1.5 bedrooms worth of items that were prepacked by us. His quote was our price, no surprises and it was much more reasonable than others I received. My parents have moved with other companies before (so they can compare) we're very pleasantly surprised with the team's courtesy and the care that was taken with all of our things. We had a narrow stair to the front door and the house we moved into was built in 1792, so it wasn't designed for getting things up stairs easily and none of this was an issue, everything we wanted up stairs made it there. I will be honest, I was a little skeptical that everything we had would fit into the truck that the team arrived in, but Igor's walk through was spot on as you can see. I highly recommend!

A-Way Express was amazing! They came on time, were polite and kind, and got the job done all while being careful with all of our walls and furniture. I have no idea how they did all they did as quickly as they did on what seemed like the hottest day of the year. We would definitely recommend to anyone!

Highly recommended. These gentlemen are prompt, professional, courteous and reasonably priced. We have used them several times, once to move furniture between two locations, another time to move heavy furniture within our home.

Great company. I have used A-Way for 2 moves so far and I highly recommend them. They are punctual, and worked carefully and efficiently.
