ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Don't get sucked into the great reviews like I did. Moving is already stressful enough, but when you have a no show it just makes it so much worse. I highly advise you to not risk hiring their services. There are plenty other services out there!! Not only did we have to scramble at the last minute to find moving helpers, but we had to pay hundreds of dollars more because of short notice. I first called Gonzalo and he told me to text him the date and time of the move and any other piece of information. So I did. I tried calling him a week or so later to give him my exact address for the move and to make sure everything was all set. He said he was away and if I texted him the info it was written down. I told him to call me back when he gets home to make sure the move was written down. He never called back. So I had my husband call and he told him he was out of the office and that he will call him back. I texted him a few times after I talked to him including the day before the move and heard nothing back. Both my husband and myself tried calling him the morning of the move and it went straight to voicemail. I can't reiterate enough how stressful this has been. Please don't let this happen to you!!!!!

Five stars! This is the third time I've used this company and I will continue to use them and refer them to all friends/family.  By far the best value of services I have ever experienced or heard of.  I recommend Isaiah and Elijah, they did our last move and were wonderful and efficient.   You will not be disappointed.  Thanks Windy City Helpers!

I stumbled across this company through U-Haul and I'm so happy I did! After having such a great experience when they helped me unload my U-Box when I moved to Chicago, I decided to use them again this year when I moved to a new apartment in the area. Gonzalo is a pleasure to work with and his team is extremely professional. Joey and Moses helped me move this time around and they were fast, friendly, and careful. This is the best moving company you will find--and for half the price.  Don't hesitate to hire them.

Edgar, Alex and Isaiah helped us with our move and they were AWESOME! Courteous, professional, fast and on-time. I would definitely use Windy City Helpers again for my move.Update: We had our items unloaded by another crew because we moved long-distance. The other crew said they thought Windy City Helpers did an outstanding job packing the truck. WCH also worked at a significantly faster pace than the other guys.

I'm a property manager, and some of my tenants in a downtown high-rise used Windy City Helpers to move about 2 weeks ago. According to my tenants, they did a great job, as far as getting the move done quickly and professionally. Unfortunately, the movers damaged one of the hallways during the move (a dent in the drywall and scuffed the paint). It was obviously an accident, and accidents happen to everyone. The damage to the wall was $90 to have repaired, so I brought it to the attention of Gonzalo from Windy City Helpers. Gonzalo bent over backwards to immediately send us a check to cover the $90 in damage, and apologized for the inconvenience.NOTE TO GONZALO: No need to apologize...Accidents happen, and you and your company handled this situation with the utmost professionalism. As a property manager, I have experienced and witnessed many instances of very unprofessional moving companies, so it's always a pleasure to work with a company like yours.I will definitely be recommending you to our tenants who are looking for moving company referrals in the future.
