***Updated Review!***Used them twice to move. Once a year ago and once this July. The first time was to move my boyfriend from a 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor into storage. The 3 movers were nice and professional. Only one spoke English but that didn't matter really. Did a good job and did it quickly. Total time 3 hours with a 40 min drive in between. We decided to use them earlier this summer to move from our 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom plus move the stuff from storage. Booking was easy, Melissa was very nice and very helpful. She recommended we use 4 movers and thought it would take 5 hours. The guys showed up 20 minutes late, even though they knew we had a time slot we couldn't miss to move in to our new place. Everything was packed and ready to go when they got there minus them wrapping a few things which Melissa told me over the phone they would do no problem. When they arrived they were nice but only one of them seemed professional. The rest seemed annoyed, like they didn't want to be there. I asked them to wrap all the furniture and to be very careful with a few specific things. They did as I asked but half-assed it minus the professional guy taking extra care with my glass table. They seemed sort of weird about my paintings and some other valuable stuff so we had to pack that stuff into my car ourselves which was fine, but again just not what I expect from professional movers I'm paying for.Once we got to the new place they seemed to care even less about our stuff and moving it. They unwrapped the furniture at the truck instead of waiting until they got it into our apartment which resulted in ripping my couch and getting paint on it, ripping one of our mattresses, and scratching multiple things including things I asked them to be super careful with. When I called them out on this they just shrugged like it was no big deal.When they were done they had to call their boss to run our credit card. He tried to charge me for the 20 mins they were late but he eventually took it off. He barely spoke English so when I tried to explain the rips and scratches he told me to call back Monday and talk to Melissa. A few days later I noticed my Bosch drill set was missing. I saw the guys load it into the truck but it never made it into our apartment. I called their office about the missing drill, the paint on my couch and the rip in the mattress, no one answered. I called probably 12 times over 3 weeks. It either went to voicemail or said it's out of service even though when I was booking the move and called back multiple times with questions, Melissa answered every time and was very helpful. Finally, I got someone in the office to answer and when I told him my drill was missing he said he would ask the movers and call me back. At this point I didn't expect to hear back.A few weeks later, Melissa got back to us! She had been out of the office for a few weeks and saw a note on her desk about our missing drill and called us back promptly. Melissa was so nice and helpful again. She coordinated with the owners to get us reimbursed for the drill (bought a new one) and compensation for the paint/rip on our couch and the rip in our mattress. The offered to try and clean and fix the couch and mattress but I decided financial compensation would be better so I could get them fixed myself. The owners and Melissa saw my review and apologized a lot for our bad experience. It sounds like the guy I had been talking to while Melissa was out was just a temp and wasn't sure how to handle the situation. I am very thankful for Melissa and how much she cared about us as customers and her drive to rectify the situation. In the end, I am glad we were able to get everything settled and appreciate the owners doing the right thing.

This company made my move from Norridge to Winnetka as easy as I could ever imagine. I packed my belongings into boxes prior to movers' arrival. They let me know they could have done packing part themselves but I decided to save myself some time and money. It was critical that the move is done in a prompt manner because of the very narrow move-out window allowed by my building. However they still padded furniture with blankets and shrink wrap, wrapped some accessories like lamps, vases and framed photos from the walls. I did not have to worry about packing supplies. These guys brought everything that was required. They made me feel at ease for the safety of my things. Movers were cooperating with me quite efficiently throughout the whole move, I did not have to do much, they seemed to know what they were doing. The guys also helped me to put the furniture in my new apartment the way I asked them to, and they made sure multiple times if everything was they way I liked. Special thanks for that.

GREAT MOVERS! These movers were about the business. They came ready on time to work and began immediately. They were up and down, quick, and efficient. They moved all our boxes up and even assembled our bed well within the time frame. The booking process was simple. I messaged them on Yelp and was sent an invoice via email. I called and left a deposit and that was it! I would recommend these movers in a heartbeat.

I always felt moving is going to be stressful and last two movings with the help of Vitesse moving has been so smooth, my perception has changed. Due to my employers need I had to move twice in last six month (one in Dec 2016 which was local and other couple of days back from Chicago to Madison). First move was limited to transfer the stuff and when we moved from Chicago, I thought of extending the services from Vitesse to packing as well. Melissa, who was handling my queries, was so friendly and helping address my queries that all the initial stress was gone by her assurance ... luckily she was handling my case in earlier move as well so I believed her .. and now I can say Melissa's words exactly matched the outcome of the move.I highly recommend this moving company and above all it is very cost effective compared to other movers.

Initially I was quite sceptic when I hired Vitesse Moving & Transfer because I had very frustrating experience with moving companies in the past. However I decided to give them a chance after reading their multiple 5 star reviews. And I never regretted my decision. These guys were very careful with packing my very expensive china and my fragile collection of stained glass window panels. They packed every single piece with packing paper, bubble wrap and moving pads. I was amazed with their expertise and professionalism. Should I mentioned that nothing was damaged. These guys did an awesome job and I would absolutely recommend them.
