As Yelp says, 5 stars "As good as it gets!"My husband and I moved in November, and used United Relocation Group due to multiple friends and coworkers referring us to them. Everything from our conversation with the reservationist to our experience with the movers was on point. The only small hiccup being that we got a call the day of the move, and our movers were able to come a few hours early. As you can imagine, I wasn't *exactly* finished packing everything, but with the help of some friends and family we were able to finish while the movers were packing up what was already packed. There was a team of 3, and I kid you not, these guys must be superhuman or something! One guy carried a queen size mattress BY HIMSELF! The deets: We moved from a 2 bedroom second floor apartment in Rogers Park to a 2 bedroom second floor apartment in Andersonville. Even with the wrapping and taping they did for us, they completed the entire move in under 2.5 hours! Many of our pieces of furniture are wooden antiques or carry much sentimental value, and each one of them was moved without any damage or issue. Overall, United Relocation Group are fast and well, professional! Well worth it, especially for a move within Chicago. Props to our team, Peter , Leo, and Roman! Thanks guys.

Supposed to move us cross country. I thought I knew what... not to exceed price meant until today. That is the reason we hired them. The quote was not supposed to be a quote...it was the final price! Not!We initially were told to estimate how many boxes etc. so they could estimate the cubic feet needed. When they arrived, we were told there would be an upcharge for odd ball items...like my golf clubs and suitcases. So, it didn't matter how much space it would take up, they wanted to count items, boxes and extras. I believe that was their goal all along...to scam us out of extra money we simply didn't have. Based on our estimate of boxes, they said, you have way more boxes. I said it will fit in 450 cubic feet. Didn't matter that our boxes were smaller than what their sizes stated for sizing purposes.We fired them! Tried to tell us is was $1000 more than our "not to exceed" price. Total scam. On top of that, the foreman, Sean, was so rude and unwilling to work (I sensed it as he got out of the truck by his body language), he brought my wife to tears! I called him an A$$ho!e and sent them away! Scammers! If I could give them zero stars I would.

This place is a scam! Avoid at all cost! This review involve Spartan Moving and Storage company, United Relocation Group, Satellite logistic INC, and Spartan Moving& Storage INC BE ADVISED THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!!!  The Sr. Moving coordinator/ General Manager Jason Levine is a "real" Sales man, his last name changes with each company.  My sister's family and mine are relocating to Denver area, my sister found the so called "Spartan Moving and Storage" company talked to them got a quote everything seem great (they never used a moving company before)!  I called the next week,I have dealt with movers before, talked to the same person got somewhat of different story. 1- they don't send someone out for a quote its all done on phone, 2- they have a "guaranteed rate NEVER to change" even if you go over x amount of cubic feet.  I question this and was told we want your business and they will eat the cost! 3- Jason kept raving about how is reviews are the best and they have A+ BBB score and they are not like most company who "buy" their score from the BBB, amazing yelp review etc..  Promised to send links with my written quote!  He did however NONE WERE FOR HIS BUSINESS!!!  The Yelp review was for a Spartan company BUT for one located in San Francisco, I called them and was told to RUN, RUN, RUN! That Jason was a huge scammer and has been using his business reviews to scam people!  They have a lawyer and are in the process of dealing with the issue apparently this has been going on for some time.  This company is also known as United Relocation Group.  I called their 800-561-0994 number from the website, talked to first a Sally, then at the end of our same conversation when I asked her name again was told it was Stacy?!  I asked about all the red flags I had, about not being able to find a legit website, why it has 2 different locations one in MD,7505 Murray Hill Rd Columbia, MD 21046-1838 and IL,2058 N 19TH AVE MELROSE PARK, IL 60160, why Jason's office address was located in a run down apartment building they Melrose location is an apartment #5, yelp reviews, BBB reviews and the MDOT numbers not matching and the San Francisco location.  She stuttered around a lot put me on a 3 minute hold, and was not able to answer any of my questions, she gave another address telling me to come check it out,5412 W Roosevelt Rd Chicago, IL 60644,  we did an yet another dead end!  I was an industrial area by the train tracks nothing visible from the road, and most importantly NO trucks!  I was told by Sally/Stacy, again same person, that you could see their trucks lined up!  These people are scam artist, please be smart!  If it sounds to good then its probably a bad idea!  We were able to cancel our cards so they got no money out of us!  Jason continues to harass us through emails and phone calls and has now been calling and threatening us.  Listed below is some of his emails that he send us... This place is also known as many other companies including Spartan moving and storage they claim to be associated with one that has a similar name in California but when you call them they say they have nothing to do with them and even have a case against them.

Ha! Nick. It is ironic you responded.  I tried to call so many times. Left you my number and just like expected you never called back. You wrapped the furniture.  But our paper boxes, your movers tossed them from the second floor to the ground. Those are not wrapped. And as much as I tried to pack carefully, nothing could withstand the way your movers handled it.You lost 10 of my boxes, medium and large size boxes which you charged me 30$ per box for moving fee. You settled the lost for 75$? I have chatted with your unfortunately other clients and was told the expensive items are stolen and you pay pennies for the lost boxes so you have nothing to lose. And that kind of makes sense bc the boxes you managed to lose had my expensive belongings. As for your movers, I  gave 3 of them 60$ tip. They said it to my face that it was too little. Only after I gave them 100$ in tip, they seem to be more gentle with my belongings. As for your estimate quote, you gave me a quote over the phone for 3,300. I had 2 companies that came to my house and added all the items together in person.  They gave me a quote of 4,200 and 4,500$. We thought you were cheaper so we went with you.  Only after our stuff was on your truck, you gave us the actual cost, and it was 8,300. Your business is a scam and needs to be shut down. Your other clients have suggested me to file a complaint. I have not had the time. But you bet I will follow up. It wastes my time, but worth saving other from this unfortunately experience.Did I mention that when mt stuff was unloaded at the new house, your people didn't have a professional movers to do that, but went to pick up some local guys who had no moving experience and damaged my new house's floor?

I chose this company to move from Ohio to Illinois.   I am a student and it was not a big move but I still want to share the experience.Sales person was very clear with me and he did estimate pretty fast. Movers arrived on time and they gave me a 30 minute heads up phone call. Guys were very polite and friendly, also everything was spelled out clearly. I had additional items and I was charged extra because it took some additional cubic feet. I think it's fair and I am fine. All items were wrapped and packed very professional after that loaded carefully and stacked pretty good. On the delivery the furniture was without scratches and damage and it was placed exactly were I wanted it.. These guys were the greatest, they know them job...
