You have to give credit to where it is due, and this company is literally at the peak of the performance and service industry. So very happy to have gotten into contact with such a reliable moving company. Trust me, moving is practically like giving all of your stuff to a bunch of people and hoping that they'll deliver it to a certain location without much guarantee. I mean, yeah, they give you their word and stuff but what's stopping them from just leaving with your stuff right! Nevertheless, from the very first moment the receptionist answered the phone, I was convinced that they are a genuine company trying to provide a beneficial service and not just waste our time and burn our money.We had a lot of fragile things that were leaving in boxes, and I was so worried that they would not arrive in one piece. The movers noticed by angst and nervousness and accommodated to the situation which I really appreciated. They applied double wrappings of bubble wrap on anything that had glass on it and made sure that all the corners and edges of glass tables or the televisions were are neatly accounted for.The leader of the group kept in constant communication with the rest of the movers even when they were in separate rooms. They managed to clear out one room in under forty five minutes and that blew me away, given how much stuff was jam packed into that room.The outside shed must have been the hardest part as it had sharp objects and incredibly heavy pieces of equipment that were virtually impossible to be carried by a single person. Some of them weren't even heavy just very uncomfortable to carry. Again they kept in constant cooperation with one another and were able to move out the entire tool shed and pack up the important things in the truck and toss the rest in the front yard. You could tell these guys were handymen because they knew immediately what some of the work tools were. Ultimately, we were very satisfied with the outcome of this move and would totally recommend giving them a call if you are in need of a professional hand in moving. They make your transition into a new home easier and make your life a little easier too. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed!

Moving is stressful no matter how far you have to go. Thankfully when my parents decided to move from Nashville, Tennessee to Chicago, Illinois, I knew the people to call. Trico Long Distance Movers was outstanding during the whole process. The most important part, them moving stuff, was a job well done. But, they went above and beyond. They made everything go smoother by telling myself and my parents not to worry. They would be able to get this all taken care of and we should just relax, which is exactly what I did. I sat back and relaxed and they took care of everything. For anyone moving any amount of distance, I would strongly recommend Trico Long Distance Movers!

Jake Jeckel and his team helped me move after a sudden change in jobs required me to move from Chicago to NYC with 2 weeks notice. Overall, I had a great experience and 100.0% would use them again. For the most part, everyone was on time and the movers were polite, professional and easy to work with. Pros: -Everyone was very friendly and professional. The packers were clearly professionals. -Jake was very responsive when there was an issue with our delivery and got it resolved in a couple hours-Online site, insurance and quoting process was much better that the competition.Cons:-The packers on the front end were about 1.5 hours late, though it did not impact our move out. -We had some trouble with delivery, where the driver told us he was going to be 1 day later than what we agreed to. Jake resolved this within an hour of calling him. Note on the above -- neither of these are fatal flaws and were simply hiccups in the process. Overall: great experience and 10/10 I would use these guys again.

Whenever you are going to make a huge life change, do yourself a favor and at the very least do some homework! Find out what help you need, who provides that help, and the different rates at which they go for. When my parents decided they wanted to move, I wanted to make sure I could find a company that would give them the best service for their money. We got into contact with Trico and it was a fairly simple process on the telephone, and then we scheduled to estimate the length and size of our move.The gentlemen who stopped by to help us pack and move all the things were very nice and personable. They had bundles and truckloads of equipment and they looked ready enough to move an entire high rise office building. But luckily they had an easier job as we only had about three rooms that we needed to empty out.Anyways, the first twenty-four hours took up most of the packing of the furniture and it took a few hours to load everything onto the trucks. They were so very precise and efficient in placing the largest pieces of furniture in the back and even made use of stacking the smaller things on top of each other. I really appreciated this as it helped us minimize the amount of back and forth trips that we would need to make to deliver everything. After all the things were packed up and taped down, they drove off and gave us a confirmation as well as a tracking number. I honestly did not even use the tracking number because they seemed trustworthy enough, and luckily just the next week we received a phone call and a notice that all of our things had safely arrived. All in all a very great and simple process, very thankful for their help.

If I could give it 0 star, I would. I have made a few long distance movings and Trico is definitely the worse one ever! I found this company from Yelp based on all the good reviews and started to talk to its sales associate, Richard Kovjanic early June 2016. When I was communicating with him regarding my moving needs, I told him that I was moving from Chicago to San Francisco and planned to move to my new place in San Francisco on July 1st, 2016. Hence, I would like to receive my stuff around that day. He said that if I placed my order shortly, he could arrange my stuff to be picked up on June 20th. While he didn't promise I would receive my stuff on July 1st, he said they would typically be delivered in the first week of July. Given what he told me, I placed my order shortly and arranged my stuff to be picked up on June 20th. In addition, he told me he would communicate with me throughout the entire process. However, after my stuff picked up on June 20th, he stopped communicating with me.  Finally, I got an email from a different person saying my stuff got delayed. After receiving a few delays, I was finally received my stuff on the last day on the contract form, 7/21 (I had to sleep on the floor and had nothing to live with in this period). One of my office desk was broken and two items including one office chair were missing. I asked them about the missing items, but I have never got any response. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
