My sister and I have been on a hunt for finding the right moving company to take care of us. It had been a last minute decision for our move to a new place, so it was a bit rushed. We actually had found these guys through the grape vine from a few people she works with. The most stressful part about the move was that we were both moving into different places which weren't far from one another. We were just heading out closer to where we recently opened up a new business and we had both planned to arrive either on the same day or at least a day or 2 days difference.This company was very helpful and flexible with what we wanted and needed done. One priority that I needed to be taken care of was that I wanted to make sure all of my necessary items had arrived before my arrival because I was going straight to the office. This included ALL office equipment and all software for my employees. I also wanted to make sure that it all arrived DAMAGE-FREE. The company ensured me that it was not a problem and provided insurance and a list of items that were being moved so there was no confusion or lost items.They were very organized and professional. I was happy with my move and my sister who arrived later on, had a smooth move as well. Thank you all for your hard work.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with State to State. Michael, my contact, was super communicative and was there for me whenever I had any questions. My move was long distance, Los Angeles to Chicago, I put my items in storage for a month and when it was time to move into my apartment, everything was accounted for and the movers handled my belongings with care. Very impressed!

The glowing reviews this business received on yelp convinced me to call to get an estimate for my move. The phone system (this call may be recorded...) and the woman I spoke to on the phone sounded very professional. I set up a time to meet of 9:00am with Adrian who also sounded really nice. However, by 9:00am the next morning, no Adrian. I called the office and explained the situation. No call back. I called again at noon and spoke to Richard who told me Adrian had been up all night went home and crashed. Richard offered me a $200 dollar  discount but but what good is a discount if they don't show up on moving day like they didn't show up on `estimate` day. One star for answering the phone and one for being nice.....I guess.

Finally got my own place and needed help moving my belongings to my condo in river north. My girlfriend had used this company in the past so I trusted her on her recommendation. They were very reasonably priced and so easy to work with. They picked up all my items in one trip and helped organize my larger size items. They absolutely delivered as promise and I would def recommend in the future. Thanks again

I have to say I was extremely lucky when I ran across this place. It was last minute and they came through like a charm. In short I had to fire my moving company for various reasons and I just came across them here on Yelp (Thanks Yelp) I explained my situation and they were more than happy to help. When they arrived they were beyond courteous as to the mess the previous company left. They came to the rescue and treated all my stuff like it was their own. The guys were really sympathetic to my situation and really turned my nightmare move into a sweet dream, everything went so seamless from the pack up to the unpack. I would recommend this place anyone looking for a moving company. Thank you.
