name of company: "precision movers"name charged on my card: priority 1from: chicagoto: la area (~2000 miles)pickup: july 24thdelivery: aug 8th (16 days)estimate: $1798actual: $2710.49 (~1000 more)one of our boxes had a hole and a stain on the side with ants crawling out of it.  when we opened the box (which was full of clothes), a knit hat of mine was covered in what appeared to be animal URINE.  moving advice: don't hire movers.  just do it yourself.  you know exactly where your stuff has been and how much it costs.it doesn't matter how many bad reviews this place gets, they will just change their name.  just avoid companies with sales people of the name BONI, KATIE (boss), KIRIN.  and also with this address: 32 Decker Dr Irving, TX 75062*do not go with a broker company.  it's harder to settle claims and your stuff exchanges many many hands.contact me if you to know more, see videos, or pictures of our stuff.i experienced most of what the other reviewers have as well.seriously, just drive your sh!t yourself.

Do not use.  If the name TONY or JULIAN fall anywhere in your move, DO NOT USE!! They left me high and dry and never showed up to move my things, which ended up costing me an arm and a leg in extra Uhaul costs.  I had used the 773-708-7200 and was speaking with Tony.  Again.... DO NOT USE!!!!

OMG moving was a nightmare!!! So the moving guy I originally called, Moses, had this one crew scheduled to come out but one of the guys hadn't shown up that day. So they got way behind and called to tell me they couldn't get to my place until like 9PM. So I said no that's too late. Then Moses must have called these guys from "Precision Movers" (although after looking them up on Yelp, I've discovered that they go by several names and have done several bad jobs). So they showed up at my house at 7:30 and did a good job of putting everything into the truck, until it came to my love seat. Turns out, it's a sleeper so they had to charge extra. Then, when they were bringing it upstairs from the basement, they put a dent in the wall and scratched the paint off of the basement door. My parents came home right after they made the dent and were PISSED. The guys have offered to fix it but after reading those Yelp reviews, I'm not even sure that will happen. (Update: They never called to give information on how they would fix the door and they never will. But we don't want them in the house again anyway) And they didn't take anything off of the price of the move. So finally we get downtown. I passed their van on Belmont and called when they didn't show up immediately after I got to the apartment. Turns out, they needed to get some gas. But it took awhile and I think they were just letting the clock tick because they wanted to charge me for a 4th hour. The stuff got into the apartment with no problems and I am just happy that I had a friend with me at all times because there were a lot of complaints about things getting stolen on Yelp. Anyway, the final cost, including the tip that they calculated, was $570!!!! Way over what I budgeted. They basically charged the 4th hour because it would "take them time to drive back to their office". Seriously, I am never moving again. These guys were awful.

Add another alias to the bunch: Packmen movers. Tony/Adrian also use the phone number 773.708.7200 and 708.674.9651. I found them on Craigslist touting "college student movers". My initial conversations with Tony impressed me as he was very detail oriented and organized. However, what I got day-off was another story - not a college student in the bunch.  Adrian puts on a very professional face but the people doing the actual moving while he stayed in the truck were some of the most careless individuals I ever met. My favorite part was paying them by the hour while they tried to get the keys that they had locked in the truck. To begin with, there were a few pieces of furniture that needed to be disassembled and reassembled - among them two cribs. The gentleman who claimed to be experienced in this regard lost hardware and couldn't remember how to put pieces back together. My husband had to supervise him closely and basically do the reassembly job for him.At the end of the day, they damaged a Herman Miller table top and promised to send their go-to refinisher to our house to fix it for free. Six weeks later, I've gotten no satisfaction. I've called numerous times and spoken to Tony (who sounds remarkably like Adrian at Adrian's number) who has politely given me the run-around.DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. There was some last minute change-up on the number of movers I would require and pressure to pay gratuity despite the damage. Our rate was $22/hour and they only accepted cash.In hind sight, i was happy I did not give the movers access to my smaller possessions or credit card number. I am confident that all of my belongings are accounted for.

Our move turned into a nightmare, and I wished I had read the reviews on Yelp before signing up with Tony and Julian. I had found the advertisement on Craigslist and hired these guys because of the affordable price (@20 per guy per hour plus $85 for van). I was moving out of a 1-bedroom apartment and they quoted me a two-hour estimate based on my furniture; I had moved most of the smaller items myself. In short, the move turned out to be over 4 hours long. In addition, Julian and his crew shattered a glass desk top from my office desk that now has cost me $250 to replace. They lied  to my face about damaging the item, even though it clearly was shattered inside of the elevator by the two movers. I've been calling "Tony" and "Julian" repeatedly with rude replies and them simply hanging up on me or not answering my phone calls at all. They also tore off a dresser door and taped it into place; when I went to open the dresser, the door fell on top of me. Several other items were badly scratched. In spite of the multiple damaged to my furniture, I simply asked for a reimbursement of the desk top which was shattered; but this company obviously has no sense of responsibility to their clients and should not be trusted with people's possessions.
