Movers beware!!!  If you want ALL of your belongings delivered and not just a few, do not go with this company.  Also if you want your furniture to be in the same condition it left your first location from in the same condition when it arrives at your new residence, don't use this service. When my belongings arrived I was left disappointed and sick to my stomach.  The driver opened the semi container door and I could see my large dresser laying diagonally against a crushed box.  Things were scattered in the truck container and it was clear nothing had been tied down.  I had purchased a new bedroom set not long before my move and the large mirror that was part of a two-piece dresser set was shattered!  You could hear the glass rattling around inside the moving blankets and wrap used to "protect" it.  The large beautiful dresser (Lying as if had fallen) has a huge gouge on it.I took inventory as they were moving my things and noted a missing box.  I asked if I could see if the crushed box inside the truck was mine and they refused to let me look because of their insurance policy.  That box contained items that cannot be replaced as well as some that can if the company would respond to resolve this (which they have not).In the beginning I was pleased with the communication that took place with the representative that set up my move, Patrick was great.  After he made the arrangements for my move that's where things went terribly wrong.

I had a nightmare experience with Olympia. I moved my family's belongings from Chicago to Nashville. When I received my items in Nashville I was on and off the phone with Olympia in tears because of how abused my items were. Boxes were smashed, wardrobes (very thick and sturdy boxes) completely crumbled. All of my things had been literally shoved to the end of a truck and I cried as I watched them pull pieces of my furniture out. The WORST part of my experience was that they unloaded my things so quickly and rushed that there was no way to account for my belongings or take photos of the damage at the time. There was furniture that I physically could not move to go back in and take inventory my boxes. When I realized I would need to go through my items, the me. Unloading the truck told me there was no way they could go back in and take anything out of my storage unit that they had put in because they were in a huge time crunch and had to get to their next job. I was RUSHED and forced  to sign the delivery confirmation papers in the end because the delivery men didn't have the time to wait and couldn't leave without me signing. I was completely under duress and would have never signed the release papers. We had our $500 vacuum and a large box (of course of my handbags and small intimate items of value) stolen. The total damage was over $7000. Not to mention, my husbands grandfathers DOG TAGS which are obviously irreplaceable are gone. Now I just received a "settlement letter" from their insurance which says that they won't reimburse damaged items because I packed them myself, even though my boxes were visibly smashed and mishandled to the point of making my cry on first sight. And, they don't want responsibility of any lost items because I signed for it, even though they have multiple phone records of me in duress during the move where I said I couldn't possibly move the items to see what had arrived and what hadn't. I couldn't be more angry and upset with this company. You would be insane to use this company.

I've used Olympia for my last 3 moves. They are always great. Their prices are good, they do a good job, are professional, and are efficient. I took off 1 star for arrival times. Know that if you are the 1st move of the day they will give you an arrival window of between 8 - 9, but will call closer to 7:00 & arrive closer to 7:30. This happened to me last year and again this year. I still prefer it though as the first time I used them they got stuck in traffic and were considerably past the window by the time they arrived. As long as you can be a little flexible on times, I highly recommend them.

Very courteous and did a nice job protecting the furniture. The move-out is taking a little longer than expected though. Will update.ETA: move took much longer than expected, twice as long as initial estimate.  I had to help-out to get it done and didn't have them re-assemble much of the furniture.  Nice guys but not very good.  Pay the extra money for Golan's Moving and make it stress-free
