College student living here, I probably won’t be disappointed this much again. I tried two others, before and they failed badly. They are all about getting the deposit they want you to pay upfront. JUST DRIVE YOUR CAR YOURSELF!!!!

I've worked in the auto industry 4.5yrs and have coordinated the shipping the multiple vehicles for my clients. NEVER have I experienced such unprofessionalism from an auto transport company as I did with Nexus while trying to ship my own vehicle. They may offer you a great sounding quote, but don't fall for it. They are not able to deliver on anything they say (shipping window, price, etc.) And trying to work with their horrid "customer service" team is a joke. If you want to work with a competent company that will deliver your vehicle as promised with a great experience, DO NOT USE NEXUS.

My son moved to Denver for Atlanta and did not want to drive his modified 1999 Jeep Wrangler that far. I contacted multiple auto transport companies and choose Nexus. The vehicle was picked up in Metro ATL on the first day available and was delivered to Metro Denver in 3 days. This was door to door service. My son was there to take delivery and said all went well. I would have no problem using Nexus again.Things to keep in mind:1. Nexus (like most) is an Auto Transport broker, they schedule and use other trucking companies to haul your vehicle. 2. In the Auto transport world the time starts on the date the vehicle is available to be moved, not the contract date.3. For various reasons, modified vehicles (i.e. lowered or Lifted) may have an extra charge so be sure to tell them up front.4. As a rule of thumb, the truckers get about $0.50/mile per vehicle for the transport depending on distance. Quotes over that are brokerage fees.5.Upon delivery the truckers want cash or cash equivalent (Money Order, Cashiers check, etc.) However, you can charge the brokerage fees upon contract.

WARNING: Long rant ahead! This has been (is) a hassle.I need my car transported via closed transport from CA to FL for med school. I ordered transport from Nexus over the phone on 6/21 for $1500 and the woman on the line said that they could have a pickup available in 1-3 business days and they could get the car to FL in around a week. Since I am arriving in FL the first week of July, I requested a pickup the following Monday (6/26), which would allow the car to arrive around 7/3. All is well, and I pay my deposit over the phone. I ask if a confirmation email of the phone order will be sent, and the woman assures me that it will.I check my email that night and there is no confirmation email. Assuming they're a bit behind, I don't sweat it.On Thursday (6/22) I receive a voicemail from "Marcus" saying that a trucker is available to pick up my car on Friday (6/30) and that trucker will call me on Friday to schedule a time. He also said that they had sent me a confirmation email of the pick up date. I am confused as this was not what I had requested over the phone. I then check my email and there was no communication from Nexus, not an initial confirmation email of the order or the second confirmation email for the supposed Friday pickup.Friday comes, and I do not receive any calls for a pickup. I then call Nexus and ask the woman on the other end for a confirmation of the pickup date. She puts me on hold, and after a good 25 minutes of waiting she comes back and says that they are still in the process of scheduling a driver. I ask her if they will be able to make the Monday (6/26) pickup date. She assures me that they will. After verifying that they have my correct email, I ask her for another confirmation email as I did not receive any emails from Nexus. She assures me that she will send one.Saturday comes, and I do not receive any emails from Nexus. Assuming that their phone support is having issues, I send Nexus an email asking for a confirmation email of my order.Monday (today) comes, and I do not get any call for a pickup. I check my email and I have no emails from Nexus.I have just gotten off the phone with them and the woman at the other end said that Nexus has not scheduled a driver to pickup my car yet and is unable to give me a date when I can expect a driver to be scheduled. She said that they may be able to do it by Wednesday (6/28). I ask for a confirmation email, and she assures me it will be sent. This time, I have her send it while I am on the phone and I finally got it.I will update this review after the shipping process is over. Hopefully there are no more problems along the way and Nexus will be able to make their rescheduled pick up time or I'll be across the country without a car!

Decided to use Nexus Auto Transport to transport my brother's car from Chicago to California so he could have it at his military base. He is an infantry marine who has just returned from a 6 month deployment in Mosul, Iraq. We paid the $130 deposit on Friday 6/2 and scheduled a pick up for Wednesday 6/7. Since receiving the deposit, it had been radio silence from Nexus. Any communication with them had to be facilitated by us. Needless to say Wednesday rolled around and nobody showed up to pick up the car. After calling Nexus they informed us that they had "no drivers available" to complete our request and therefore our car would not be transported. Now our soldier is left on his base (which is desolately located in the Southern California desert, mind you) without a car and no way to get around. Did we receive an apology from Nexus? Of course not. They showed no remorse or even a shred of customer service. Is this a way to treat a money paying customer? Or better question, is this the way we treat our servicemen fighting everyday for our freedom? We will be telling everyone we know, especially our large circle of military families, to NEVER use Nexus Auto Transport. Support our Troops, but don't support Nexus Auto Transport.
