My experience was mixed. First they were 6 hours late. I was very displeased. It seems the other moves were running late. We were the third move of the day. So I am moving into my new apartment with my girlfriend. Both our things had to be picked up. They loaded her things from the second floor, and after seeing how much things I had they decided to to pick it up at 7am. They unloaded my girlfriend's thing until 11pm. The next day they were at my place at 7am to load my things (my things were in a first floor apartment. It went quick and the unloaded quickly. They were semi-careful. But they did drop and ding a few things. They weren't the best movers, but honestly for the price it is a steal. They only charged me a flat rate of $350. Plus I tipped well. You can argue you could get better movers, but the price would be much higher. If you have nice things though you may want to find those higher priced movers.

If you're like me (and the hoards of other Craigslisters out there), you'll at one time or another find yourself needing to move furniture or whatever other lovely things you buy/collect/need to move.I saw a posting on Craigslist for a mover and called Milton Clark, who is absolutely the nicest guy in the world and an absolute professional.  I had just decided to buy a mattress, box spring, and metal frame on the Southside, and also a sofa and love seat back in my new neighborhood (Rogers Park).  The bed was up on the 30-something-th floor and the sofa was down a long alley to a garden condo.  Oh, and did I mention I now live in a third floor walk-up?  Uh, yeah. So, considering all of those factors (mileage, dragging stuff around), I thought I'd pay an arm and a leg.  Instead, Milton and I agreed on $100 for two trips with two guys and a truck (and in the end it took around 3 hours!)  It was more than reasonable; it was a flat out steal. And I more than enjoyed Milton's company; his wife is a school teacher in Rogers Park and he was extremely personable.  He's also super professional and knows the city through and through.I wished that I had had more cash on me to give a bigger tip so I could really pay them the money they deserved!!  Hopefully this review will help them get more business, so if you use them, you'll be helping me pay them back for their hard work!!  Thank you!!

About a month ago I hired Milton Clark & co. for a residential move on January 10 (last Saturday - you might remember the snowstorm?).  As the date approached and the weather forecasting became more dire, I began to worry about whether it was safe for anybody to be carrying furniture under such conditions.  When I called to express my concerns, though, Milton Clark was not worried. And it turns out he did not need to be.  Apart from one mishap on the slick back steps (I really hope your mover is OK), the move went off without a hitch.  Mr. Clark showed up with three extra movers but charged me a flat rate based on my initial quote instead of jacking up his fees.  I ended up getting my entire 1.5 bedroom apartment moved for $300 in about two hours. What could have been a painful, aggravating, and expensive process was easy, affordable, and pleasant.  I will certainly call them again.

If I could leave a negative number for this review I would. This is not a professional company what so ever!!- This is basically some guy who has some friends who decides when he wants to move your stuff. He left me completely in a bind by canceling the day of my move. Horrible!!! Do not use!! Caution!!

Bad experience!!! I called Milton Clark about 2 weeks ago to schedule a moving on 7/25 @ 9:00am , last Sat, he sounds very nice and the quote he gave me is not bad, $75/hr for 2 hrs, including truck~So on 7/24, which is a day b4 the moving day, I tried to call him to confirm the it, but nobody picked up the phone, and his msg system didn't allow me to leave msg either. I was so worried and I knew there's 50% chance they won't show up, but I still hold hope,...on Sat morning, our moving day, I started calling him at about 8:00am, tried to confirm the moving but still no answer, and finally, they didn't show up.......I was so pissed....I hate ppl being late or don't  show up....at least you should call or reply phone call if you can't make it..... luckily I found another mover to finish the job for us on that day (we've reserved the elevator already) , that one went very smooth, they even arrived half an hour earlier than the appointment time. Anyway, for any ppl who consider Milton Clark moving service, I suggest you go for sb else.......
