Kevin`s Piano Moving

We didn't hire them. Our neighbor did to love a piano from our house to theirs.

Told my neighbor they needed to be masked to do this. There are immunocompromised people on my house.

Three guys show up - an hour after original window. Kevin in the lead (it's his father's company.) Kevin's walking in, I ask him where his mask is, he says he's vaccinated and doesn't need one. Then he says he'll wear it inside. When I ask him to put it on, he pulls out an old bandanna and ties it over his face. I explain that won't work (why must I explain thus 18 months into a pandemic?)

Kevin keeps saying "it'll be okay" but he's not listening. Finally, one of the other two gets him a surgical mask, which he's got under his nose now. Says he'll pull it up inside, but why would I trust him? Doubt he's even vaccinated, given how many excuses he made not to be wearing a mask at all (his crew was.)

Only reason I let them in after all this BS was the neighbors who did hire have other things to worry about. If I'd been hiring, would've sent them away after the first exchange.

Bonus points for laughing when I tripped on my sidewalk. Zero professionalism. Felt like I was talking to a middle schooler. Do not hire.

I am VERY PLEASED and IMPRESSED with Kevin's Piano Moving. I met Dan and his other moving partner. They were prompt at the residency where they picked up the piano in Chicago, They planned and figured out how to transport the piano OUT of the house while having a dumpster in the driveway. They got the piano to my house in a timely manner and even recommended what to do to stop scratching my hardwood floors with the piano bench. I definitely recommend KEVIN PIANO MOVING, A+++++ service

I'm giving Kevin's movers 3 stars cause I always read the three star reviews they usually include a little good little bad but the realization is Kevin only deserves one star here's why. The piano move we had was not a typical one and so I called Kevin cause he has 4.5 stars and asked Kevin to come out he said Rob just send me the pictures I said you really should come out again he said again send the pictures so I sent him the pictures and he says oh no problem $375 and we could take the legs off the piano so we booked him the appointment for 10 AM and arrives at 11:15 so not too bad anyways the guys take a look at the job and proceed to move it and get down three stairs and they say no way. Well thanks Kevin for coming out!!! The moral of the story is don't trust Kevin if he says send me pictures I would call that a lazy businessman. He really let us down. One star.

I've worked with Kevin's Piano Moving for the last 10 years and have been consistently happy. We run a music school in Chicago with three locations and Kevin's is the best!  They are professional, reasonably priced, courteous and they really know what they're doing. Highly recommended!!!

I called dozens of places to price out moving a piano from one house to another about 6miles away from each other. Kevin's was the best price and the easiest to work with by far! I called on a Tuesday and they moved my piano for us on Thursday. Great experience with them! Thank you!
