I have had 3 major moves in my adult life, the first 2 were disappointing.  THIS time, the third, I did my homework, interviewed 5 companies, got personal references and chose Hollander Movers.  I like that they didn't nickel and dime me with charges that i thought should be included like cardboard for the floors, plastic for carpet and stairs, tape etc.They were flexible with scheduling and got me 7 first rate men and 2 trucks on short notice (1 week).  I had to reschedule once due to a village issue and they were able to accomodate me.  I had originally planned on hiring them to pack our 5 bedroom home but due to the day delay I was able to pack myself.  When i called to cancel the packers they could not have been nicer in spite of losing the business.The day of the move arrived, they were on time, courteous and worked hard to protect both my old home and my new home.  All 7 men were personable and hard working.  Very quickly i felt that I was in good hands and confident that they would do their best.The move could not have gone more smoothly.  I especially appreciated their patience with me as i changed my mind a couple of times with furniture placement.  They finished in less time estimated, charged exactly what they said they would (no hidden "extras") and accepted credit cards.Thank you Hollander.Beth

The crew we had was led by Omar and they were all great. They took care of our furniture during the move and were timely and efficient. Loved the experience.

Horrible company.  Arranged for them to come for an estimate and the guy never showed up.  Then set up another time.  The guy came and never sent me the quote, never contacted me again.  Very bad way to do business.

I had a great experience working with Hollander arranging a complicated three-part move from Chicago to Denver with an eight month  stopover in Montana. Carlene was responsive and helpful at every step of the way, even as our plans changed due to logistics. Once we found a home in Denver, Carlene went the extra mile to help us get our things from storage in Chicago to our new home a few days before Christmas so that our two young girls could enjoy the holiday. I also had great experiences with the United representatives who helped us and did the heavy lifting. Moving can be stressful, but Hollander made it easy for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend. Thanks!

After 13 years in the same condo, I moved to a new location about five blocks away.I had collected so many things, I did not know where to begin.  Moving is exhausting.I am fortunate, however, to have hired Hollander Moving.  The schedule was for the movers to come between 8:30 and 9 in the morning on January 27.  They were right there at 8:30.  Most of my stuff was already in boxes but it was the big furniture including two armoires that were heavy that had to be wrapped up and moved. These guys knew their stuff.  I was out of the old apartment and had everything moved into the new location in about 3 hours.  It was fast and efficient.  And the final charge was actually under the estimate.I want to personally thank Marcus, Troy, and John for a job well done.  I recommend Hollander...I would definitely use them again.Robert
