AVOID AT ALL COSTS. David lied about the delivery dates and fees just to make the sale. They made us pay more upon pick-up and delivery. Our stuff finally showed up after 3 weeks. It was nearly impossible to get information from anyone for days.

David from Sales stated the delivery date would be 9/30-10/1 and confirmed multiple times. After pick-up on 9/27, Destinee literally said "I don't know why sales would tell you that because Friday would be impossible." They apparently only have a truck going out to the East Coast every TWO WEEKS. David's original promise of 10/1 is the only reason we chose this company.

After 1.5 weeks went by with no update on the delivery date and we had already driven across the country, Destinee said we could come pick it up from their warehouse ourselves with no refund.

Another week later, on 10/19, we finally have our belongings, but surprise, we were forced to pay additional stairs fees that David also said were included.

They rarely answer the phone, return voicemails, or reply to emails. Most people you can reach have no idea of delivery dates or where your stuff is and one extremely rude receptionist wouldn't put me through on the phone and said "Just keep emailing." That's their solution... FYI the various numbers and options also lead to "HK WorldWide" and "Best Price Moving" so avoid all of them.

The only person at this entire company who is helpful and pleasant is Crystal (apologies if I'm spelling that incorrectly). She was the only person who apologized the entire time and it wasn't even her fault at all! She's also the only person who I could regularly reach and was extremely sweet.

Our family used Harold Kass Worldwide Movers this past March for a move from Rockford to 2 different locations in suburban Chicago.  The move was flawless from start to finish, and the crew extended not only great care, but also unexpected courtesy.  Two things sold me at the beginning as I researched different providers... the price was comparatively better, and the customer service on the phone by David Carter for our contract was absolutely terrific. They will be our first choice whenever a mover is needed again.

Unprofessional. Unresponsive. Late. Significant last minute chargesThe company picked up my items March 30th and guarantees delivery in 2-14 days. It's April 23rd and I still don't have my items, which I was told would arrive last weekend at the latest. Their customer service is terrible - they seldom respond, provide inaccurate / conflicting information when they do, don't answer the phone, and refuse to put me in touch with a manager or supervisor. My things were supposed to be delivered this morning, but the driver is in a semi-truck...which obviously won't fit in my apartment building. Had they told me in advance, I could have contacted the city for moving permits to block off parking along the street, but the company refused to provide any information about my move until I heard from the delivery driver this morning. Now, of course, they want me to pay $230 to rent an additional smaller truck and shift delivery to tomorrow, so I have to cancel yet another day of meetings so I can be here... if they ever even show up. Do not use them, no matter what.

I had someone come out and give me an estimate which was 2800.00.  Ok so we plan on 3800.  They are always off a bit.  However, when they pack everything into the truck the bill came to 6100.00.  The person who unloaded us was a jerk and I had to call twice because my husband was ready to blow his top.  Things had scrapes, dents and tape everywhere.  It was the most unproffessional group I have ever delt with.  1.  The estimate should not have been almost tripled2.  Still missing a box since end of September.3.  Other than Mia in the office the rest of the employees seemed like prison inmates out for a dayAnd didn't care about any of your possessionsWill not recommend and will spred the word that this group is not worth the price.

We hired them for a move from IL to FL. Dealt with a sales guy Harold for two months, finalizing inventory etc. Moving day was not without the usual small issues, but in general Ernesto and his crew were good. Promised a 2-10 day delivery window. After three days was told by Destinee my items would be picked up the next day and start the journey towards FL. After six days I email for an ETA and I'm told nothing has left Chicago, they have no truck, and no ETA. (I'm in a hotel with 4 kids) I call Harolds office, speak to extremely rude Dillon (supposedly a manager) who tells me I can no longer have any contact with Harold, "it's never going to happen - we don't work that way" and I'm only allowed call customer service. Their whole phone system is a joke, it just keeps routing you through the voice mails. Eventually speak with Destinee (who's never heard of Harold??) and she casually tells me it's a courtesy window, they're not liable if they don't meet it, no truck available, it's the busiest season - sorry. I email and text Harold and get zero response. So I draft a complaint to the BBB and submit it. Amazing I receive an email the next day to say they found a truck, my stuff would be on it, they were planning on helping me all along (haha) - oh and they were sorry to see I had complained to the BBB. The final payment was another circus. I had 3 emails from Destinee stating I could pay by Credit card if done 24 hrs in advance. The driver argued with my husband - the some extremely rude woman called Mary called (supposedly another manager) and basically told him he was crazy - can't pay that way. He hangs up, I email Destinee and low and behold she sends the credit card form and that's how we pay. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! The scam is you can never speak with your sales rep once your items have been picked up!!! If you have any problems you can never address them with him/her. They note your phone number so you can't get around the system. It's horrible how customers are treated by them. I can't stress enough - STAY AWAY!!
