If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Everything from the initial quote to the final unload was fantastic. I moved from a third floor walk up with a pretty tight staircase and Manuel and the guys arrived right on time and didn't miss a beat! They packed up difficult items I didn't know what to do with and moved everything out in about an hour. Super quick. I had some unfortunate difficulties moving into my new place due to the previous tenants refusing to let me move stuff in. Manuel and his crew rolled with everything and made the whole thing a lot more bearable. They were extremely conscientious with my stuff and very fast. Even my new landlord said it was the fastest move-in he had seen! On top of all of this the price is very affordable. This is one of those rare instances where you get more then you pay for! If you are looking for movers to just show up and get get the job done then flash movers aren't for you but if you are looking for friendly movers to treat your items like they are their own, be able to roll with unexpected circumstances, and do it all insanely fast then hire these guys!

I had another mover cancel on me, so I was looking for someone to help me on short notice. Manuel not only got back to me quickly and had availability to help me the next day, but also under-priced the competitors.Prior to the move, Manuel was very communicative and clear. Manuel and his crew were on site ready to go 15 minutes before our scheduled time, which was much appreciated. Once they got to work, everyone was friendly, considerate, efficient, and professional.Would definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you Manuel!

I was referred to Flash Movers by a good friend who moved a couple of months ago and had a good experience with them. I reached out right from the beginning I could see that this was a good way to go. Manuel was very helpful and anything I needed to happen, he gave honest answers to whether or not they can, Which so I thought. I booked them about 5 weeks prior to me moving out of my apartment. About 3 weeks out I had some unexpected news that I needed to move a day earlier. I called Manuel right away to ask if they were able to move me out the day before and hold my belongings over night then drop off at my new place the next morning. He said that they would be able to do that for me and there was a fee for overnight which I knew would happen but I was okay with that. (I attached some screenshots of the text message confirming the new schedule) The day of my move I received a phone call from Manuel about 10min before he and his team to show up for me to tell me "Bad news, I'm not coming, my other pick up told me they were not moving in the Chicagoland area, they move to Wisconsin". WISCONSIN!!!! And you're calling me 10 min before you are to be here? My landlord already gave me an extension staying in my place because I was not able to move out until 4PM. Manuel went on to say "HE was in trouble, and he doesn't know what to do, he possibly will be back around 9 but was not sure".  I called my landlord and he was more than helpful to allow me to stay until midnight. Manuel said he would keep me posted on when he would be coming. I received a phone call from a random number about a hour and half later saying "Its Flash Movers we are in your lobby" I was not home. the man said that Manuel told him I was ready. I told the man, that I am 45 min to a hour away due to it being rush hour. I called Manuel to tell him that someone was there and he did not inform me and that he told me after 9 PM. He went on to SCREAM at me  and say that I was acting funny business! Ummmm excuse me? He went on to also say he never said such things. in this moment I begin cry because I am soo frustrated. He continues to scream at me and say that I am not human. It just becomes a battle back and fourth. I end up hanging up to call some other places and also try to see if I could get a uhaul.  Manuel text me to say I can take my time because the guys will wait for me. So I rush back home...... only to find... no movers. I text Manuel and he said that they left. He then proceeds to say if I wait he will not charge me the overnight fee. Okay i'll wait. This is 8:15PM. I texted him at 10PM to ask for ETA, he says 10 min away. 10:28PM they show up. They were really quick. once they left I notices a empty water bottle here and there. a total of 8 empty crushed water bottles that they STOLE (i did not give them permission to take) and they threw them in the top of my closet. The next morning they were to arrive at 9AM to unload. At 6:09AM he text me asking if they can start before 9AM. I said NO, I will not have keys until then. When I arrived at the apartment at 8:30am they were there and ready to start. (Apparently they had been there since 7:45am) As soon as I got the key they started moving things. A few of them threw boxes on the floor and the gave me back my empty water bottle case! just the plastic that hold the bottles (Really A**holes) I had to breakdown my own bed at my old place ( Due to them being late and me panicking about moving my own stuff) and then setting it up at my new place ( they tried to help when i was 85% done setting it up, the screw two things and put the slates, box spring and mattress on) Once they left and unpacking began i opened a box of glass bathroom containers that were completely shattered. The bottom corner of my sofa was ripped ( they pushed pushed pushed it through the door, ummm try taking the feet off first.. duh) The whole experience was terrible. from beginning to end. granted they are affordable, NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN. Nor recommend them to anyone.

These guys were recommended to me by two colleagues who had recently used Manny and Flash Movers.They were extremely efficient. Completed the move two hours faster than other companies quoted me.  In fact, it would have been even quicker had we not arrived 45 min prior to our move-in time at our new building (had to wait for elevator to become available).  Took roughly 5 hours total for a 2br/2ba move of about 20 miles - which is exceptional given Chicago traffic.The team and truck arrived 15 min early to start the move and worked together in assembly line fashion to get everything carefully wrapped, packed, and organized into the truck.  They had plenty of wardrobe boxes to transport clothes and blankets and plastic wrap for furniture. All in all, they made moving much less stressful.  Solid communication.  Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the best - super quick, very professional, extremely prompt communication and at a great price.  Couldn't ask for anything more!
