I cannot say enough good things about East Coast West Coast. First of all, Frank at East Coast West Coast truly saved us after a bad experience with another company, and helped us schedule a cross-country move that happened within 48 hours of us calling him. The 4 movers who came to pack us up in Chicago were professional, quick, and careful with all of our stuff, and they put it in storage until we were ready to have it shipped to our new home out east. We just had our stuff delivered this week, and it was a totally seamless experience - movers came on time, and unpacked quickly. THANK YOU Frank and East Coast West Coast, for making an already stressful situation (aka: a move) far less stressful!!

We moved from Chicago to Michigan, and were very happy with the service. Everything was delivered without incident on the day that was promised. My only complaint would be that we had to look into parking permits in the city of Chicago on our own at the last minute after I was under the impression that it would be taken care of by the moving company, but everything turned out just fine.

Originally I was going to give this place an extra star or two, however below are the reasons why I had to change my mind.We used East Coast West Coast Movers to move from Chicago to Seattle. Right from the start we were able to get in touch with them, get the quote which was affordable and the reviews online persuaded us to go with them. In Chicago we packed most of our stuff ourselves. The two guys who came to get our stuff in Chicago were super well prepared, efficient and packaged our furniture and big items very well. At that point we were very pleased with the service.The items were delivered to our new location within the promised time frame and nothing was lost. However, many boxes came broken or damaged (it seemed apparent that heavier items were placed on them, even though it said fragile). That resulted in broken items like dishes, souvenirs etc. Also, despite them packing our furniture in Chicago, one table came in completely broken when we unwrapped it. On top of that, the guys who delivered our stuff and were supposed to unwrap it, were rude and so much in a hurry that left most items undone, so we had to put them together ourselves. We filed a claim for the broken items and never heard back from the company again...All of that said, considering this was a cross country move, I think overall they did a good job. However, the experience we had in the beginning and the end was like day and night. Perhaps they need to train all contractors involved to ensure all items arrive in one piece.If you ever consider using them for your next big move, don't hesitate to reach out with questions.

Luke at East Coast West Coast is amazingly helpful! I moved from Chicago to New York, which was a very stressful situation. Luke put me completely at ease and really helped to make my move seamless. There was constant communication all throughout the move. The movers both in Chicago and NYC were both timely and efficient. I would highly recommend East Coast West Coast if you're moving long-distance, they really make the process very easy!

I actually helped a client get his move done. He needed help finding a company that would handle packing and a move to different state location.
