I've been a long time customer and the service has gotten better since the change in management. I've gotten pretty good service over the years, but in recent years the service has been really great with Mike on the staff and Linda as their current manager. Violet who previously manager wasnt that great, but I think her issue is learning to work with the public in a supervisory role. Overall, the service is great and having been a customer for over 10 years says a lot.One thing they can improve on is extending the hours until 6p M-F and 5p on Saturdays and 4p on Sundays to give people extra time to come there if they work late during the week and weekends.

If you're a wine storage customer do not get suckered into paying for extended hours access. Half the time it will not work.

I recently moved my belongings into East Bank Storage in between apartments and closing on our home. The folks at East Bank have been truly accommodating and flexible. My husband and I swung by their facilities during their open hours to take a look at a variety of storage unit options and were able to place a two-week hold on our unit until our move-in day. Instead of paying for unused days, we were able to sign our lease on move in day and only pay for the prorated remaining days of the month. On move-in day, we realized we had more belongings than what would fit in our reserved unit and were able to switch units right then and there. Only bummer in the exchange was minor, we had bought packing supplies from them (only to discover we were given the wrong sized mattress cover) and could not return as we didn't have the receipt.

I've been at East Bank Storage for many years now and the one thing I can say is that the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Living in the West Loop makes this location very convenient and most of all affordable

I used East Bank for about six months in 2014 when I moved here from London. As a consequence I had to arrange everything remotely, but everything went seamlessly. When I arrived I also received great custom service. The building and lockers are good with a 8' height. Most lockers have wide, garage type door openings, although some are standard size, which you should avoid if you have large pieces of furniture. There is a dock that the container lorry that held my things could back up to.I am now planning my return across the pond and need to put some of my possessions back into storage before I leave the USA later this year. Linda who manages the place was really helpful. She took me up in the elevator to show me the unit, she clearly explained the payment terms. East Bank offer certain months free-of-charge, dependent on how long you intend to stay.Their opening hours could be longer, as others have commented on, but overall this is a very good storage facility.
